A Life We Call Normal

Chapter-2

*ring*

"Yes mom I'm awake" I said through the phone
Another day of school great..note the sarcasm
As I did my morning routine i was early today I went downstairs and saw my mom dad in the kitchen "dad what are you doing up so early?" I asked
"Making breakfast for my little girl" he said
"Thank you dad" I smiled
After I ate my breakfast
I went out to catch my bus

*At school*

I entered to see Sean and Zoe talking about something I approached them
Sean gave me a confused look and left.....wired enough
"What was that about?" I asked Zoe. "Ignore him, he's an idiot" she said
I laughed. That's the thing about Zoe and Sean they keep fighting. We then went to our classes the day was exhausting but over no interactions with Sean at all every time I try to look at him and smile he just look away. As I said good bye to Zoe I headed back to my bus but a familiar voice called me I turned around to see Sean I asked him "what happened?"
"Look, Zoe told me that you like me. Is that true ?" He asked. It was the air was sucked though my body, I was afraid I was confused what should I say yes or no.
"Don't be afraid please. Tell me the truth" he said
I nodded and said "yes I did said that"
"Alright" he said and left I was afraid I don't know what to do he just left without giving me an answer. What am I supposed to do I just stood there and then somebody call my name saying that the bus is going I climbed on the bus and headed home.
I didn't know what to do so I called Zoe
"Hello?" She said
"What the hell is going on?" I said
"What happen?"
"You know exactly what happen, I'm talking about Sean he told me everything."
"That idiot can't keep his mouth shut can he"
"Shut up and tell why would you do that?"
"I thought it'll be easy this way... you know you were such a coward to tell him"
"I wasn't"
"Yes you were, now tell me what did he say??"
"Nothing, he just asked 'is that true that you like me?' I said yes it is and then he left"
"Just like that?" She asked
"Yes" I replied
"WTF?"
"I know right, you know what he probably doesn't like me and I don't think he'd talk to me ever again"
"Yea right, you know what you are best girl ever came in his life"
"No I'm not, besides how do u even know?"
"I just do"
"Yea whatever" I sighed
"Don't be sad Sam, it'll be alright I'll talk to him about this"
"Okay"
"That's my girl, now cheer up"
"I gotta do an assignment I'll talk to you later, okay?"
"Okay, take care"
"Yea, u too" I said and hung up

Will he like me back or we'll never going talk again. Ugh.....this is too much.
"Honey, lunch is ready" my mom yelled from the kitchen
"Coming mum" I replied but I wasn't really hungry but if I don't eat mom and dad will start asking questions so it's better to eat.

I got up and went downstairs.
I was barely eating anything mom and dad asked me what happened but I answered with a simple nothing.
I went back to my room I got a lot in my head and there's no way I can get it out of my head. What should I do. Should I ask him again but what if this was a sign for no and if I asked asked him again and what if he rejected me I won't be able to take it.
I decided that I will ask him one more time I have to do this.

~Next morning~
I woke up early, got ready for school. It was too early mom was still asleep so just grabbed an apple. I didn't feel like taking the bus so I started walking to school. When I arrived school I spotted Zoe I walked towards her.
"Hey" I said said quietly
"Hey, I'm so sorry" she replied sadly
"It's wasn't your fault you were just trying to make things better"
"But still I-"
"No buts, or I won't talk to you"
"Ok ok fine"
"Let's go we have a class to attend"
We went to class. I saw Sean and when he saw me he looked away still thinking about whether I should ask him or not I took my seat.
After a boring day at school and Sean ignoring me all day I headed out saying my goodbyes to Zoe I headed for the bus but it was late today.
I saw Sean and decided to confront him I called his name he turned around. I started walking towards him.
"What?" He asked rather calmly
"I wanted to ask about the other day, you didn't answer" nervousness was evident in my voice
"Walk with me?" He asked
