Chapter 9

~Luna POV~

I began to walk as soon as the sun came to noon and I had recently hunted a big buck to feed the pack. I stopped smelling something strange yet familiar. I glanced around fallowing the smell til horror filled my eyes and sadness filled my body. " SNOWSTORM NO!" I cried out loud even though no one else was around. I fell onto the ground laying beside my beloved mate ignoring the strong smell a blood that covered the faintness of his familiar sent. I nuzzles Snowstorms cold body as sadness overwhelmed me and I began to cry....

~ Violet's POV~

I watched quietly as Luna mourned for her dead mate. I smiled complete entertained and glanced over at Bloodthorn satisfaction and pride filled his eyes as he is watching the sad she -wolf. "Now, I must go visit my sister tonight. Then we can take out Sharpshadow, Crows bodyguard." I smiled slyly..

~ Silvermoons POV~

I walked into my den worn out and a bit sad for my dear friend Luna. ' I know you killed him Violet' I said quietly looking into the shadows of my den " you must be mistaken sister. I didn't lay a paw on that wolf" Violet replied slowly walking out of the shadows. I stiffened up slightly not realizing she was here "Then who did?" I said to her as our eyes met and I began to feel trapped in her violet red eyes. She laughed a bit darkly giving me a chill " oh Silvermoon, I had a friend do it for me." Fear flooded my thoughts ' there's someone else helping her!?' I thought. Violets smile widened seeing the fear in my eyes " well, I must be going my dear sister" She paused as she walked away a bit turning to me with her eyes red in the darkness " Tell Luna to sleep well for me" she laughed a bit disappearing into the darkness...
