I was running at what felt like the speed of light. I was late for school, yet again. "Where r u???" My best friend Jungkook texted me. "Almost there!" I sent back. I soon saw him up ahead. He walked across the rode while waving me over. Out of the corner of my eye I could see a car speeding towards him. A blood curdling scream escaped from my mouth.
Jeon Jungkook was dead. My best friend, gone. Tears ran down my face as I hugged his lifeless body. Another victim to a hit and run. Soon the ambulance was there, but I couldn't hear a thing. My ears were ringing. Everything was silent, and my body was numb.
From that day on I was depressed. Everything reminded me of Jungkook. I shut everyone out. I made no attempt to move on with my life. How could I? Jungkook was my life, my whole world. Then he was gone. My world, had slipped through my fingers. I was completely and utterly alone.
