I never thought the love if my life would die so quickly. I never knew he would leave me with the biggest hole in heart. But i guess, somethings were meant to happen in life.It was like any other night. I decided to work a shift at one of my clubs "The Lovely Lotus," I loved it and so did everyone else. I walked in as my eyes adjusted to the lighting. The chandelier hanging in the center of the dance was much brighter than usual and was much more blinding, though, the three smaller ones near it did add to the affect. Everyone was either dancing, talking or drinking, men usually in one corner and women in another. But with me here, they flocked to the bar. As if i was the latest dress or the newest toy, but then again, mostly people just loved my violet eyes. It was a very rare eye color, but most people said that they complemented my curly dark hair and copper skin. Women thought i was the greatest thing in the world, men thought of me as cute and charming. But there was this one man who would never come to the bar, only after the sea of Men and Women had ebbed that he would take a seat and order a drink. I found this odd and decided to question him about.
"Can I get you anything sir?" I asked the man politely.
"Shot of whisky and that'll be all" he replied waving me away.
I poured his drink and handed it to him. "I'm surprised that you don't flock to the bar" i said as i started to clean the glasses, "I thought you would like to join the fun"
He chuckled, "How can i get a decent drink if there are horny Men and Women everywhere?"
I scoffed and shooked my head, "They're not horny. They're just.."
"Just what?" he asked as he downed his shot.
I filled his glass again, "They're just alone"
He smiled and shook his head. " i bet you a good portion of those men are either married or are dating someone" He downed his other drink, " those are just my guesses"
"So i'm guessing you're seeing someone?" i questioned as i filled his glass once more.
"Nope."
"So, then why are you here so often?" i asked as i leaned over the bar.
I placed down some a twenty and left another in the tip jar, " Just to see you" He said and then left.
I stood there, blushing, no one ever came here just to see me. Everyone came here for the music or the singing or the food. But not for me.
"Hey, lover boy, you still alive or what?" snapped a voice.
"Sorry Daph, i hadn't realized i zoned out" i stated as i took his money and began to clean again.
She frowned at me, " So who caught your eye this tine?" she asked as she sat down.
"This guy i was talking to only comes here just to see me, i couldn't help but think why?"
"You're the most talked about bachelor in all if Xyacinth" She stated, "Who WOULDN'T want to come see you?"
"I know but i mean like, he just..." I trailed, 'He wants me' i thought, 'i guess i could give him shot'
"Besides, you should start dating again. How long has it been since you've fucked? Three years? four?"
"It's only been a year and fucked Thaymerh last week"
She scoffed, "Yeah right, if you did, why don't i see a hickey on your shoulder bone?"
Damn it! I forgot about that.
"Ha! so you didn't sleep with him!" she yelled.
I put my hands up in surrender, "Fine i confess, i didn't sleep with him but still, if I'm going to date him there have to be rules." I stated.
She groaned, then sighed. "Fine. what is this time?"
"You mention this to no one." i said.
Her mouth gaped, "Oh come on! The whole town is bound to know about it next week."
"I don't care Daphne, i want this relarionship to be private for once"
