I love you

Today was Friday, and like everyone else around you, you were ecstatic. This weekend was extremely important because you got to go with Karasuno's volleyball team to the beach. And not to brag or anything, but you knew you looked pretty hot in your bathing suit.

A paper airplane smacked into the side of your head and brought you back to reality. You sighed deeply and opened the airplane to read what was inside.

Hey (y/n),

Since we're going to the beach tomorrow do you wanna come over so we can study tonight?

You rolled your eyes and laughed gently at the note before you. Kageyama had a sweet side that not many knew about. But being one of his best friends, you knew it very well. You glanced over at the said boy who gave you a questioning look and nodded with a huge smile on your face. Kageyama smiled lightly and directed his attention to the board once more a slight blush dusting his cheeks. You've been over before, and the Kageyamas really liked you. They always asked to have you stay over a little later for dinner and when you could, you said yes.  Just as the teacher called your name to answer a question, the bell rung and saved you finally releasing you from the school.

Most of your things had been packed up as Kageyama came up to you waiting for when you were ready.

"I've got a surprise for you when we get to my house (y/n)" He said nerves obvious in his voice.

You smiled and stood up swinging your bag over your arm and began walking out Kageyama right on your heels.

"Okay Kags...you couldn't tell me by any chance could you?"

"Nope. You have to wait (n/n)" Kageyama said in a teasing voice. He knew you hated surprises and that's the whole reason he brought it up then.

You grumbled and crossed your arms over your chest angrily. You didn't make a peep the whole way there.

"Oh (y/n)! What a pleasant surprise! How are you?" Kageyama's mom hugged you tightly the minute you stepped past the threshold. His mom was very sweet and smelled like blueberries , which you so happened to have liked. Kageyama looked almost identical to his mom, except for his height and scowl.

"I'm great ma'am. How are you?"

"Oh just fantastic! Well you kids can go on upstairs now. Dinner will be ready in half an hour so don't be having too much fun." With that she winked at the two of you and walked back to the kitchen.

Kageyama sighed and took off his shoes placing them besides yours and took your hand leading you to his bedroom at the top of the stairs.

"Can you tell me now?" You pleaded.

"When we get inside" He opened the door letting you in first and closed it behind him putting his bag down on a chair close by "Now close your eyes."

You did as you were told and waited. A deep breath came from the body standing a the door and he made his way over to you stopping just a step away.

"You ready?"

You nodded excitement getting the best of you.

A pair of soft lips collided with yours gently and you opened your eyes in shock.

Tobio Kageyama was kissing....you.

Tobio left your lips and smiled.

"I love you (y/n)..."

You covered your mouth silently and nodded. You couldn't utter a word. It was just too good a moment.

"Surprise!"

You facepalmed and turned away grabbing for your bag and reaching inside for your history text book.

"You're lucky I love you too you idiot."
