!THIS IS WHERE THE ANGST GETS REAL! My next fanfic will be a comfort fic, nice and fluffy, trust me ;3. I just really wanted to write some angst, because I feel like depressing garbage. Anyways, enjoy the feels QuQ

Marinette sniffled again, and smiled, but then remembered the nasty wound that was slowly killing him. "Oh, hold on Adrien, I have pain killers and stuff in my backpack" she said, running to a pile of boxes in the ally. "I transformed her" she explained as she ran back with her pink backpack. Marinette opened it up and pulled out a first aid kit. "I... I think this will help you last a little longer..." she said quietly as she pulled out gauze. She also gave Adrien some pain killers.

After wrapping him up (which took a lot of work), it started to rain. Plagg got up and hissed, before zooming into Marinette's purse with Tikki. "That's Plagg, my Kwami. He hates rain, sorry" Adrien said and chuckled. Marinette giggled and nodded, grabbing her purse and setting it down, wrapping her jacket around it. "won't you be cold?" Adrien asked, seeing marinette in only her shirt. "No, we're under protection. I can always set stuff up to block the wind. As long as we're dry, I'm fine" she said smiling. Adrien smiled back and said "Marinette, can I ask you another favor?" Marinette looked at him and blushed before humming a yes. "W-well, I was wondering, c-can I, uh, kissyouplease?" he asked, rushing at the end, blushing madly. Marinette flushed at the question as well, but smiled. "I w-would love that" she replied, laying down in front of him. He smiled and leaned closer to her, making sure she had enough space to move if she wanted to.

Marinette leaned closer and connected their lips, surprising Adrien for a second. He smiled and kissed back, his lightly chapped lips on her soft lips. They sat their for a moment, enjoying the feeling of being close together. They both knew that this could be their last chance to be together after all. The seperated after a while, catching their breathes. "This sounds stupid for obvious reasons, but Marinette, will you be my girlfriend?" Adrien asked, cupping Marinette's cheek. "It's not stupid. I would love to, Adrien." Marinette replied, smiling before kissing his cheek. She noticed he seemed more weak, and he also seemed to be shivering.

Marinette got up and grabbed her purse and coat, covering Adrien up as best as she could and set her purse filled with the kwamis next to Adrien, covering them up. She sat down, back against the wall, gently laying Adrien's head on her lap. It pained her to acknowledge that it was only a matter of time until Adrien, Chat, died... "S-so, this is hard to talk about, but how should we approach this? ... We both know how this is going to end," Marinette sniffled, " Do you want people to know you're Chat Noir?" Marinette asked, running a hand through Adrien's soft golden locks. "I... I haven't thought about that. It would be harder to explain the disappearance of Chat Noir after Adrien Agreste's death," he cringed at that word," So someone will find out eventually" he said thoughtfully.

"That's true... How, um, how do you want me to announce your... your death?" Marinette asked, tears threatening to spill again. " Just say what happened. I have an idea, how about I write a quick will, just in case?" Adrien asked, offering a small smile. " Do you want me to write for you and you sign?" Marinette asked, knowing how weak he was. "I would appreciate that, thank you" he replied, looking up at Marinette.

After writing the will, in which Adrien makes clear that there was nothing Ladybug could do, they sat in a sad but comfortable silence. "Hey, Marinette, could you do something for me, because, well, I... I won't last much longer?" Adrien asked, Looking into her eyes, which seemed to tear up again. "Yeah, of course" she replied, giving him a sad smile. "I've heard you sing before, and your voice is amazing. Could you maybe sing something for me?" he asked, and took in  a deep breathe, because it was getting harder to talk. "O-okay. is there a particular song you want?" she replied, and he shook his head no. Adrien was getting paler and paler, his eyes dimming.  Marinette wiped her eyes before leaning down and kissing him again. He gave her a weak smile, because that was how much he could offer. She held his hand and began to sing "Raindrops" by Regina Spektor
