Yugi woke to the alarm's blaring noise. When he went to shut the offending item off, he instead witnessed the alarm hurled across the room. He noted that when it hit the wall, there was a sickening crack. He would need to get a new alarm clock.
"Heba! That's the third time this week! You need to stop throwing my alarm. It's getting very old, hell, it was old the first time! I don't want to replace it again."
Yugi glared at his brother as he got up. Heba glared right back at him, growling as he slowly sat up.
"I wouldn't of thrown the stupid clock if it wasn't so loud! Why did you even set the stupid thing? We don't have to go to this stupid new school till tomorrow!"
Yugi shook his head at him slowly, cursing mentally as he would need to burst his bubble.
"H-heba..."
"What?"
"W-we do have school today."
Yugi flinched as Heba suddenly shot out of bed, getting his legs tangled in the sheets. A loud thump was heard as Heba face planted on the hard wood floor.
"What? Why didn't you tell me that school was today!?" Heba yelled as he ran around the room, gathering his things.
Yugi sighed as he calmly got ready for the school day. He hoped there would be no tormentors, but he knew that was wishful thinking. He was glad that Heba had taught him enough so he wasn't defenseless.
"Boy's! It's time to go! And so help me god, if I have to come upstairs, I'm dragging you downstairs by your hair!"
Said boys shuddered as they quickly made their way downstairs, grabbing lunch as they left.
_____________Time skip____________"That lady in the office was a jerk. She didn't have to snap at us because we asked for a tour! I thought that lady was hired to do that stuff!"
Heba fumed as he stomped down the hall. Yugi followed him grudgingly, after all, a pissed Heba is worse than an angry bull, and Yugi wasn't going going to forfeit the lives of other students because he wanted to stay away from Heba.
Sometimes, he hated that he looked out for others.
"Hey, shrimp!"
Shit. He was left behind. Again.
"Hey! Pointy haired freak! I'm talking to you!"
He stiffened, and just before the hand reached his collar-
"Hey! Leave the new kid alone! You have no right to bully people! Scram!" He then turned to the one he was defending.
"Sorry 'bout that. So you're one of the new... kids." He was now fully facing him. He was surprised.
"Yug'?"
Yugi snapped his head up.
"Jou? Is that you?"
