Chapter 13

My world seem to be coming full circle. I had a family that actually loved me and a guy that really cared for me. It felt so good...but I felt something wasn't right. I didn't let whatever this feeling was get the best of me. There is so much to look forward to and I couldn't wait to share the excitement with Carter. Jhene feels free...I belong to somebody...

I was in there warehouse trying to figure out why a half a million was coming up missing from the bookie record. I looked at Spencer he kept checking all the books yet this money wasn't showing up. I had a strong feeling Xando had something to do with this.

"Dammit...if he is messing with out connects he will never see daylight again" I was fuming at this point

"Carter calm down we can't make irrational decisions. We gotta come up with plan to come for him." He was right I had to think about the safety of Jhene at this point

"Call up Donni, Lucci, & Leo! Tell them we have some plotting to do..." I wasn't going to let this bastard jeopardize what me and my family built

Jhene's POV

I was having a conversation with Ty'Lee and Yanly. You know the typical girls day in, movie marathons and what not. I smelt the fragrance from a few candles that were lit in the living for some reason I felt my whole stomach coming up. I rushed to the toilet where I threw up everything I had just eaten. Geesh the food must've really gotten to me.

"Jhene you alright?" Yanly came and pulled my hair up so I wouldn't get any vomit in it

"Yeah I'm fine I think that candle smell got to me or maybe something I ate earlier" I brushed it off as nothing then brushed my teeth

"Sweetie if you need anything just let me know" She smiled a little and then walked back into the living room with Ty'Lee

I missed Carter. I knew he had to go handle some business but I really wanted to see my baby. So I decided to call him that should cheer me up

"Ciao mio amore!" I could tell he was smiling

"Hey bae! What are you up to?"

"I'm sitting here with the fellas handling some business. Is everything ohkay?"

"Oh yeah everything is great, I just missed you that's all" I was feeling a little bit sad I think he could sense it

"I promise you J as soon as I get home we can chill just me and you."

"I like the sound of that idea because Ty'Lee is driving me crazy about her boy toy she met in Spain!" I chuckled

"Lord help that woman, listen I gotta talk to you about some things as well when I get home. So don't fall asleep" His voice changed

"Um ohkay I'll talk to you later...I love you"

"I love you too"

With that the phone went silent. Maybe I was stressed or something I don't know. I walked back in the room to see Yanly talking to the housekeeper and Ty'Lee yapping away on the phone to that guy. I decided to go upstairs to Carter's room.
