- Eve's P.O.V-

What an amazing afternoon and evening with Luke. He was such a gentleman and walked me home. We talked about the band, asking how long they'll be here. Turns out, they're here for a month! How exciting.

We arrive at the bottom of the driveway of my house, to find my dad's car here. 'What.. why is my dad's car here?' I think out loud. A loud crash comes from inside the house, I guess something was smashed, great yet another argument and he doesn't even live here anymore.

'Would you like me to come inside with you? To make sure everything's alright?' Did Luke Hemmings just ask if he could come inside my house?

'Yeah, sure. I mean, that is if you want to' a feel a small smile creep across my face.

We walk up to the front door, yet another crash sounding from inside. Opening the door, sure enough my dad is in the front room. All guns blazing and yet another full blown argument with my mum. Once again my mother is crying.

'..Hello dad nice to hear you smashing things again' He swings round to see me standing at the door, with Luke beside me.

'EEEVEEE DARLING! HOW NICE TO SEE YOU!' Great, he's drunk. Of course he is. Did I mention he's a recovering alcoholic? No? I have now.

He stumbles across the living room over the where I was standing, barely being able to keep him self up. As he opens his arms for a hug while still walking, I step aside and let him crash into the wall.

'Just get out, you're drunk, you've upset mum. Now get out and sober up. Don't bother coming back if we're just gonna have a repeat of this' What a way to spoil my perfect night with Luke.

'But Eve I haven't seen you in a few days, you could at least give you're old fella a hug'

A snigger comes from Luke. 'Sorry, different meaning of Old Fella in Aus' He quickly apologises.

'Dad just get the fuck out of this house right now' I'm starting to get pissed off.

'Stop being a little bitch Eve' He goes to hit me. Before he can, Luke seems to grab his wrist, fast as lightening. 'I wouldn't do that if I were you sir' How can he be so calm?

'And who might you be?' My father slurs his words.

'Luke Hemmings, I took your daughter out tonight to cheer her up from your recent event of leaving the house, I would also like to see quite a bit more of her while I am here in England for the next month. I suggest you do what your daughter wants and leave'

He wants to see more of me?

Luke motions his head over to the door. My dad grunts.

'This isn't the end of this' were the last words stated before he leaves.

I didn't even realise that I was crying until Luke wipes away a tear that just fell with his thumb, just before my mum pull me into a tight hug.

' I can go now if you want?' Why does Luke sound nervous?

I hadn't realised that the event with my dad had gone on for an hour and a half. It was now 9:45pm.

My mum tells Luke that its dark and getting reasonably late, so she lets him stay over.

- Luke's P.O.V-

What the fuck was that smashing sound coming from inside?

I should offer to walk her inside seen as she said her dad's here and there seems to be something going on.

'Would you like me to come inside with you? To make sure everything's alright?' To make sure everything's alright, of course everything's not alright, jeez Luke.

'..If you want to' I guess this is a like meeting the parents.

Walking up to the front door hearing another smash, what is seriously going on in there?

We walk in to find her dad yelling and her mum in tears.

..Hello dad nice to hear you smashing things again' This is normal for her? Her dad swings round to us both standing at the door.

'EEEVEEE DARLING! HOW NICE TO SEE YOU!' Is he drunk? He's fairly slurring his words.

He staggers across over to us, barely being able to stand up straight. Soon enough crashing into the wall as eve steps aside

'Just get out, you're drunk, you've upset mum. Now get out and sober up. Don't bother coming back if we're just gonna have a repeat of this' I start to feel anger building up

'But Eve I haven't seen you in a few days, you could at least give you're old fella a hug'

Did I just snigger? I better apologise. 'Sorry, different meaning of Old Fella in Aus' My definition of Old Fella is a penis.. I definitely got that wrong here.

'Dad just get the fuck out of this house right now' He better do what she tells him to.

'Stop being a little bitch Eve' Is he going  to hit her? The only reason he didn't was because I caught his wrist, inches from his daughter's face.

'I wouldn't do that if I were you sir'

'And who might you be?'  He stinks of straight vodka

'Luke Hemmings, I took your daughter out tonight to cheer her up from your recent event of leaving the house, I would also like to see quite a bit more of her while I am here in England for the next month. I suggest you do what your daughter wants and leave' I think I worded that quite well.

I nod over to the door, with a grunt, he opens the door.

'This isn't the end of this' were the last words stated before he leaves.

I look down at eve, who is now crying. I wipe away tears that were about to roll down her cheeks. This just makes me want her even more, to protect her, so she doesn't end up with a guy like her father.

' I can go now if you want?' Does she want me to go?

It was now 9:45pm, had this really been going on that long?

Eve's mum lets me stay over, to sleep on the couch seen as its dark and late.

I fall asleep, dreaming about this blonde haired girl, with a broken family, who I only hope I can save before she slips out of my grip.
