There was a hadith narrated by a sahabah, it says. After the battle with the kufar and the Muslims won, everyone was happy thinking war has finish. Then the prophet Muhammad ( SAW) said " The little war has finish"!
All of the sahabahs was surprised to hear this because many people has been killed in this war.
" Oh prophet is there bigger war than this one "! One of the sahabahs asked.
" Yes ,there is "! Our beloved prophet Muhammad ( SAW) respond.
" Then what it is "! They asked
" The war of the Nafs ( soul) "! The prophet Muhammad ( SAW) replied.
So to control your Nafs is hard but if you keep training it then it will be easy.

The prophet Muhammad saw said" if you help to spread one of Islam and anyone that benefit from it, you will get the same reward as if you have completed or done the act
