I threw the ball as hard as I could and it bounced almost hitting Seth's helmet before he ducked out of the way. He looked at me with worry a frown starting to crease his forehead. He walked over to me and took of his helmet. Leaning his bat on the ground he said, "Alex, you have to calm down. Thats the 5th bouncer you've thrown at my head." I scowled at his complaint even though I knew it was true. He smiled, "What's up?"
"Nothing." I lied playing with the end of my braid.
He cocked an eyebrow giving me a look that said 'You know you can't lie to me.' I sighed knowing he was right.
"Its Logan isn't it? Do you have feelings for him?" He asked and a second later we both burst into laughter at how ridiculous his theory was. I wiped a tear that had managed to escape during our laugh and thanked Seth for making me laugh and putting me in a good mood. He was still worried about me because he knew how much Logan infuriated me so he asked, "Would it make you feel even better if after school we have a Selex day?" I immediately grinned at the idea and nodded my head anxiously. He smiled and I smiled back before continuing on with practice which went smoothly after that.

At first, Seth and I went to our favourite bowling alley, Bob's Alley where Seth had beaten me 5-4. I was grumpy and was behaving like a 5 year old stomping my way to the mall. We walked in and went straight to the food court on the 4th floor. We each got 2 Zingers, 4 packets of fries and 2 large Dews. As we sat there waiting for our food we started talking about our match with Euston High next week.
"I swear if Tyler hits on me again or says anything about me being the only girl on the team I'm gonna make him pay so much he's gonna be in the hospital for a month." I said gritting my teeth and curling my hand into a fist.
"I swear that guy is such an arsehole." Seth said for which I whacked him upside his head and he groaned in pain rubbing his head.
"How many times have I told you not to use curse words?" I snapped.
"Sorry, its just a habbit. Will you stop hitting me whenever I say a curse word?"
"No, not until you learn, idiot." I gave him a sweet smile.
Our food came before Seth could retaliate and we both dug in. I moaned as the I took the first bite of my delicious burger.
"I can make you moan louder, princess. Just give me a chance." I exhaled sharply before putting my burger down and turning to smirk at him, "Really? Louder than when you eff yourself?" I asked mocking him.
He laughed a bitter laugh shock clear in his eyes, "You know, princess I was gonna forgive you for the whole kick me thing but after this, well, lets just say you better wqtch your back."
I rolled my eyes at his response and waited for him to go before turning back to my amazing meal. Seth looked at me with his eyebrows arched and smiles holding up his hand, "Nice comeback." I high fived him and we went on with the rest of our day. We went to the arcade and to the sports shop to get new equipment for the team and then finally headed to my house where we met Lil, Mace, Izzie and Annie. The second we entered we were hit constantly by them for ditching them and having another Selex day. Trust me, Seth and I did not come up with the name. Our parents did. Seth and I started this tradition when we were 14, where everytime one of us was having a bad day we'd just shut out the whole world and spend the day with each other doing stupid stuff like playing arcade games or rolling down the hills at the park, basically anything that got our mind off the bad day we were having. One day our parents found out about our little tradition and started calling it Selex day. We got used to it and didn't mind.
