On the way to school I stopped at my friends house to pick him up. Only because it was on the way. Of course I still knew I'd be late to school, but at this point it was whatever. Pulling up to his house I honked the horn indicating that I wad there. Waiting for my friend I sighed leaning my head back closing my eyes, slowly entering my thoughts.
Hearing the door slam shut my eyes quickly opened. Whipping my head over at my friend I scowled. "Michael, how many times have I told you. Don't slam my doors," I scolded in annoyance.
"Sorry man, It's a habit." He shrugged buckling up then setting his backpack on his lap.
"Well quit it, before I give up on picking you up." I said shaking my head. Turning the car back on I got back onto the road. The way to school was silent. Which didn't bother me since I liked it silent.
"Your mother was pretty worried about you last night," Michael said adjusting his black rounded glasses on his face with his messy black hair combed back.
Glancing over at him I nodded my head slowly, "Mhm."
He kept his brown eyes on my shaking his head. "Cameron you need to stop; your mother's already going through stuff."
"Don't tell me what to do Michael." I said snapping at him with out realization. Gripping onto the steering wheel my knuckles turning white as I turned into the school parking lot. Pulling up into the same parking spot that I usually used I shut off my car. Taking out my key I put it my pocket. Then grabbing my school bag from the back I sighed. Getting out the car with Michael I smirked. "What are you smirking about?" Michael asked looking at me confused.
"Oh nun'" I said shaking my head. Walking into the school building quickly, Michael and I both took separate ways since his class was on the other side of the campus. Once to my classroom, not bothering to go to my locker I sighed and plastered a smirk on my face walking into the classroom.
"Cameron Rodgers, you're late, again," Mrs. Vernandez exclaimed sighing as she set the novel we were supposed to be reading down her glasses set  at the bridge of her nose as she spoke to me.
"I know I know, detention for me." I mumbled finding my seat at the back of the room.
Nodding her head she picked  up the novel again and began reading in a monotoned voice which almost put me to sleep.
Just barely to the verge of my eyes closing the bell rung. Grabbing my backpack I slid it on my shoulder and left the class, my shoulders slouched.
"Cameron!" I heard someone shout my name. Looking back it was a guy named Mason calling for me. Standing still at the side of the door I waited for the kid to hurry up.
"What do you want Mason." I groaned wondering what he was going to ask for this time.
"Well since I completed your math homework...well I was um wondering if you could show up to the party I'm trying to host. Bring smokes, hot girls, yanno the usual." Looking at him I laughed shaking my head.
"You're kidding right? Barely anyone knows you Mason..how do you expect me to get people to come? Forget it."
"Come on Cameron please!" He whined following me as I turned away and began walking to my next class Still following me I sighed and stopped looking at him.
"Fine. You're lucky I'm nice" I mumbled annoyed. Snorting he turned away and walked the other direction while shouting, "it's gonna be this weekend, Saturday." Informing me with the time and date, I memorized it silently while turning back around and walked to my class.
Reaching my bio class I opened the door and walked in. And of course right as I walk in the bell rang. Flickering my eyes around to see if there was an open seat I spotted something.  Today was not any regular day. There was a substitute. Sighing with relief since I hadn't even gotten my bio homework done I went to the back left corner and took a seat there. Being used to all the chaos going around the room, especially when there was a sub; I grabbed my phone and earbuds and put on a random song to drown out all the noise. After, I went quickly to my messages and deleted at least 20 that I did not feel like responding then sent one out to get Mason's party out there.
Me: Party at Mason Beckman's house Saturday.
Feeling my phone blow up with messages I checked some then turned off the notifications. At this point since I had nothing better to do I just wanted lunch to come.
39 minutes one more for the bell to ring and I can leave for lunch. Finished with my bio homework since I did it while everyone messed around I kept my eyes glued intently on the clock.
40 minutes. The bell went off ringing and I got up bolting out the door faster then flash. I heard some people were trying to get my attention, but honestly I was not it the mood to converse with anyone.
Finished with all my three classes I smiled lunch and then since I cut my classes short detention. Reaching the cafeteria I went inline. I really did not grab the school food since that stuff did not look edible and normally I found hairs in my meals. Except I'd at least get a fruit cup or something then mooch off of the freshman girls since they couldn't resist me of course.
Grabbing my fruit cup and paying for it I went to the center table where my friends and I sat. Michael, Jorge, and I. Jorge has curly brown hair and braces and always looked like we was stoned. I mean he probably always is but, we never ask. "Why don't you ever get an actual meal dude?" Jorge asked eyeing my fruit cup and he ate him sub sandwich.
"I don't like the food here and I don't feel like going out to buy food." i said shrugging at I took off the lid and grabbed my plastic spork using it to eat my food.
We all ate our food while chattering and laughing until Michael talked, "Hey guys you know Ciara my girlfriend?Well she actually got enrolled here." He said a smile plastered on his face.
"You mean the girlfriend we haven't met." Jorge snorted not believing it.
"No guys look she right there!" Michael said excitedly and a girl walked into the cafeteria. She had long brown hair with tan skin and blue eyes. She actually sort of looked like Meghan Fox. But I swore I had seen her somewhere.
"Oh god no," I muttered under my breath.
