Twilight

Chapter 1

Closing my eyes trying to stop the traitorous tears from escaping, as i take one last glance at my soon to be past, but with no such luck one of them escaped. Its as if someone waved there little magic wand and said let there be water works.

I take the last box and close the door of my room and walk down the marble stairs with the tears streaming down my face. The moving truck is waiting patiently outside for me to put the last box in the back. Before descending to my future. A quick, meaningful hug, none of us had words... Everything has been said

See nobody knows I'm leaving Glenwood High, not even my Best friend Stella. Its for the best the voice in my head justifies my guilty feeling.

"Does anyone know you're leaving Ari?" My mom asks cutting me of from my thoughts.

"No," i reply tiredly, " its for the best. Then i don't have to explain myself"

He just replied with a simple okay, knowing not to press the subject any further. My brother has been awfully quiet the past few days. And its a accomplishment, he never stops talking. Wait never is the understatement of the year.  I don't know whats wrong but it feels like its kind of my fault. His leaving his life behind for me.

My brother was a senior at Glenwood High. He was a total ladies man with pitch black hair and sea blue eyes. If i wasn't his sister i would totally go for him. He was the 1st Team quarterback and star player.

But we were different than any human in Glenwood. And their society didn't see that as a good thing. I had to run away it was for the safety of everybody i cared about. 

Luke and i didn't know we were different since a week ago. Thinking back to that night still angers me. Oh get over it Arianna Martinelli i scolded myself.

We were from a dying race called werewolves. The race is dying because of humans thinking we were monsters that did not belong on Earth, but little did they know the Moon Goddess put us on earth to protect them.

So here Luke and i are running to the safety of our mothers old pack. The twilight pack.

Suddenly something brought me back to reality Luke's deep and agitated voice. "Pardon?" I asked not hearing what he said the last few times.

"For the tenth time, were here!" Luke replied agitated

"Oh okay."

A large man came up to the car and asked who they are and what they wanted. I heard Luke reply and felt the car start and going through the gate.

Here we are, the twilight pack, the start of a (hopefully) fresh start!
