Ari's P.O.V
Joey and I left the beach about 15 minutes ago, we were walking hand in hand to get ice cream.
"Hello Ma'am what would you like today?" The man in the van asked me.
"Hi can I get the double chocolate chip fudge in 2 scoops." I said smiling widely.
"Sure. And for you young man" The man asked Joey.
"Uh i'll have the rocky road thanks." Joey said looking down a bit.
"Okay.. so that comes to $12.70" The man said looking at us.
"Here" I said handing him the money.
"No no I got it" Joey said getting his money out. I put my money in the man's hand before Joey.
"Anddd names" the man said,
"Joey & Ari" i said smiling.
I walked out of the other persons way and waited for my ice cream. Joey came and stood next to me and stared at me, for a moment we were stuck in our own little world, till we heard our names be called.
We went and sat just by the beach on a pier.
"I've really missed you" Joey spoke up,
"I've missed you too" i said laying my head on his shoulder still looking at the beach, Joey turned and looked at me, not caring if anyone was watching... we stared at each other and I could feel my self leaning in, he was too, before I knew it our lips were moving in sync and my hands were going through his hair. Joey pulled away and said
"I've wanted to do that for so long" he said still quite close to my face.
I smiled widely and looked at Joey,
"What?" He said confused, I didn't say anything, I just jumped into the water coming up laughing.
"Watch out I'm coming in!" Joey said laughing.
This was the first time in 2 months I had seen Joey laughing, smiling and enjoying himself. It made me so happy to see him like this, I swam up to him and wrapped my leg around him. I laid my head on his shoulder whilst he kissed my head.
Joey and I walked home shivering as we forgot towels.
"Ari c-come h-h-here" Joey said shivering. I hugged his side and we walked back to Joey's place.
