Today, I went for a bike ride alone to get my mind off of everything. But all I kept thinking about was how I could make Riley feel better. As I rode down the street, cars blazing past me, I went into a bit of a trance. Not paying attention to anything around me. I couldn't see anything, it was white and black in front of me. All of a sudden the world came to a haltering stop.....
I heard a crash and a honk. And then the sound of a million sirens filled my head. People mumbling and yelling different phases. I felt my body being heaved up on to something. Then lifted into something else. I didn't know where I was or what was happening, I just wanted to get to Riley.
