Kates P.O.V.
Falling.
Down, Down, Down...
That's what it felt like, it felt like.
I was so lost in my own world that I didn't even notice Niall still standing there.
"Kate..Kate?" he waved his hands in front of my face, trying to regain my attention.
"Hmm?" I hummed too shocked to say anything.
"You alright love?' He asked sympathetically.
I just sat there in shock. Louis promised..he promised he wouldn't leave me! This is exactly why I said I wouldn't date a popular. But when the voice in my head told me not to did I listen? No, because I'm the idiot who said "Life's short, so why the hell not?". and of course I got freaking screwed over! Why do bad things happen to good people?
Once I snapped out of my trance like state I looked up at Niall from the bench I was sitting on. "Do I freaking look OK? My oh-so-loyal Boyfriend is just going to up-and leave! When was he planning on telling me? I trusted him with secrets that I don't even trust my closest friends with! That low-life bastard has the nerve to just leave without any prior warning! Where the hell is he even going?" I finished my rant and waited for the answer.
"Well...He wasn't going to tell you. He figured it would be easier on you..." He trailed off looking at the trophy case behind me, studying its every detail and flaw. He sighed pinching the bridge of his nose "He's moving to Australia love...His Parents got a job transfer and Lou has to finish schooling down there..." Niall finished his thought and looked down at the floor.
My heart dropped to my stomach and I felt sick. Australia? Its so far away.
"Thanks Ni...I um Have to go, Im gonna be latte for maths..." I stood up and hugged him, Grabbing my backpack I unlocked the door and exited the locker room.
Slipping back into the crowded hallway unnoticed I headed for my locker, I passed coupled kissing and holding hands. I shuddered at the thought of love and all the memories of Louis it brought back. Once I arrived at my locker I looked over to the door of the Maths room and saw Eilis and Harry hugging. he then pecked her on the lips and left for his next class. She stood there for a minute looking love struck then she noticed me just sitting and staring.
she blushed a deep crimson and hopped over to me. "Hey Katerbug!" she said happily hugging me.
"Hey Eilis" I said, trying to hide the disappointment and disgust I had for all thongs boy related behind a fake smile. But of course she saw right through my façade.
she looked at me and tilted her head sideways, much like a curious puppy would do. "whats wrong babe?" she asked, fully unaware of my current situation.
I sighed and looked at her "He's leaving..."
she pulled me into a hug "I know babe...Niall told me this morning." she held me for a minute before the bell rang and we were forced inside the classroom.
I had a double period today so that means double the hours I have to sit next to Louis. I sat down and pulled out my Arithmatic book and started on the next chapter.
I was about thirty minutes in when I felt something papery hit the side of my head. it fell to the dsk with a faint 'tap tap' sound and I picked it up. It was a note from Louis,
Hey baby,
Where did you disappear to at lunch? I missed you!

I Crumpled up the note throwing it back at his head. It went on like this the entire period. The bell finally rang signaling sweet relief. I sighed and stood up placing my books in my backpack and throwing it on my back and walking out of the classroom.
I made it all the way to the parking lot befoe I felt a hand on my shoulder, I spun around and saw Louis standing there.
"Babe why are you ignoring me? Did I do something wrong?" he begged me to tell him.
I just stood there and stared at him, taking in his features. His Deep chestnut hair, his plump pink lips and his eyes, his sparking eyes. no matter how hard you tried it was impossible not to get sucked into them.
I shook my head and snapped out of my trance, I looked at the ground then back up at him. I opened my mouth then closed it loking for the right words to say.
"Kate...please?" he placed his hand on the side of my face.
I sighed and shoved his hand away from my face,
"Have fun in Australia you Jerk..", I then turned and started my long walk home, tears pooling in my eyes...
