The first thing I see when I wake up is white. Only white.

'Great', I think. First I am stuck in a purple place, then I die in the middle of time (I'm not completely certain of that yet.), then I fall into space and all that I can see is black. And then I wake up to see white.

This shifting from white to black and vice versa is not fun at all. Like, come on, I'm not a pawn on a chessboard, am I? I am so frustrated, I can actually scream out, 'SOMEONE PLEASE HELP THIS CONFUSED SOUL!'

(A/N: I just over exaggerated a bit too much, right?)

So, I get up and get a good view of my surroundings. I'm somewhere in the centre of a long hallway. There are several rows a of white pillars with white curtains having silver linings flowing from their tops, like a huge white open air stadium. The floor is made of white tiles. The place does not have a roof but even the sky (even thought the sun is shining as it would over the equator) has again, a bluish white colour. This place looks like the interiors of something what muggles in India call, The Taj Mahal.

Mind you I'm not very fond of white all around me, unlike the ex Hogwarts toad, the most beautiful, most charming, the pinkiest and the sweetest teacher of them all - Professor Dolores Umbridge (note the sarcasm).

My clothes are white too. A white shirt and jeans. I have my legs on that means I'm not a ghost yet (thank Merlin for that) and I can walk easily.

Just then, I see a shadow wearing white robes coming towards me. The shadow has a long beard, somewhat smiling face and half moon spectacles on the tip of the nose. And I recognise that person. Albus Dumbledore.

First I am relieved to see him, and then, I see red.

"So, Severus, we meet again." Says Dumbledore pleasantly.

"Where, in the name of Merlin, am I?" I ask, totally agitated by his calm behaviour. "Wait, first things first- am I dead or am I seeing a very weird dream, or something?"

"Well let us say that this is your party." He replies cheerfully.

"My party?"

"Of course! And there are lemon drops too!" He says excitedly.

"Yeah right, so logical. It's my party and I don't even know where has it been organised- probably in a place where the dress code is only white!?" I fume.

"Yes, you can say it that way. Come, follow me my child." He chuckles.

"Oh, you're so irritating." I murmur.
I am just a moment away from screaming 'my child, my foot' when I decide to drop it and do something great- follow him out.

He leads me down the hallway into another room and then another and then another until I finally burst out, "Are we done yet?!"

"You asked just at the right moment"
In front of us is a large brown wooden door. Dumbledore reaches out to the knob and twists it open. "Severus Snape, it is my pleasure and honour, to welcome you to, heaven."

"OK, so I'm really dead", I think aloud.

"Well kind of." says Dumbledore. "Please enter."

I do as he says. I enter the hall. It's just too overwhelming to describe. Thank Merlin it's not white.

The walls are shades of green and blue with a chandelier made of gold hanging from the centre of the ceiling with the help of a very thin, single chain, with a greater risk of falling me. I see people all over the place. And not just any people- Black, Lupin, Potter Senior, and everyone who had died in the war.
Eatables of all kinds are laid out on wooden tables on the four sides of the hall.
