"Hurry up Beca, you're going to be late." Her dad yelled as she grabbed the last few things and stuffed them into her bag. "BECA! The taxi is already here, get a move on."

"Okay. Okay. I'm coming" She yelled back as she zipped her bag up and ran down the stars with it. Her dad was waiting by the taxi, snatching her bag form her and stuffing it in the back.

"Be good and remember, if this goes well you can leave next year but only if you try and maybe a few extracurricular activities." She rolled her eyes as he carried on. "I'll be there tomorrow night, ready for my classes the next morning but until then try not to break anything, set anything on fire or kill anybody. Okay?"

"Okay." She said before climbing into the back seat of the car.

"Love you sweetie, see you in a few days" She heard him yell as the taxi pulled out of the drive way. She stuck her hand out the window and waved awkwardly in his direction. Francis technically wasn't her really dad, but ever since they had been together, she had always seen him as nothing less.

The journey wasn't a long one and a few playlists later, she was lugging her stuff out of the taxi and looking around, looking out for the direction of her dorm room. After completing her fourth full turn of scanning the mass of buildings and grass areas around her, her eyes fell onto a dark haired boy; playing the air guitar in the back of another taxi which pulled off again; forcefully sending him into the back of his seat. She giggled a little before forcing herself back into her usual resting bitch face.

"Knock. Knock. Hey Beca, guess who." She gave her dad an unamused look as her peeped his head round the door and let himself in. "Do you remember what I said before you came here?" She continued to say nothing. "Do you think skipping all your classes on your first few days here is any form of behaving?"

"I'm not disrupting anybody." She offered but he looked at her with an exasperated and slightly disappointed look.

"Please Beca, just go to classes, do the work and make some friends. Its only for a year and then you can move to L.A. like we agreed."

"Fine and for the record I have friends." She said, standing up from her bed and grabbing her jacket.

"I meant human friends, you know, ones that speak English."

"That's racist and I'm going to the activities fair, you're welcome to stay here though but do Not open the window, it stinks of puke out there." With that she left the room and headed towards the front of the campus towards the fair.

Barden seemed hopeless to Beca, she had seem nothing interesting so far; from a bunch of geeks playing quittage to a guy in nothing but Speedos. Even the DJ booth was Jews only which pissed her off.

She sighed and pulled out her phone and was about to put her head phones on before she was interrupted by an annoyingly perky voice. "Hey, would you like to join out acapella group?" She looked up to see too insanity bright eyes. She blanked for a moment before shaking her head and removing her eyes from the girl.

"Uh, is that like a thing here? It sounds kinda lame." She said, looking up again, this time glancing at a blond girl before her eyes drifted back to the slightly shorter girl who was still taller than her. The girl's hair was an incredible shade of ginger which shone brightly as the sun reflected off of it.

"Synchronised lady dancing to Maria Kerry chart toppers is NOT lame." The blond said, her breathing quickly increasing, turning her face red. The ginger girl nudged her and gave her an annoyed took before turning back to Beca, smiling, and handing her a flier. "Anyway, we need you singers to beat the trebles so please audition." She said while signalling over to a group of guys sitting on a wall and giggling as she saw one of them fall off a unicycle.

"Thanks, but I don't sing." Beca said before walking off back to her dorm, the day had been a total blow.

"What the hell Aubrey." Chloe said when they were back in their dorm.

"What do you mean what the hell. She was way to alternative for the Bellas and besides, she said she didn't sing." The blond said, turning away from her friend and tiding away some cloths from the bed.

"You now that's not what I mean and how is she to alternative if that other girl wasn't too slutty?"

"Slutty can be fixed, alternative cant."

"Whatever, I'm going for a shower." She flipped her ginger hair and quickly gathered her wash stuff.

"Is Tom gonna be there?" Aubrey asked, smiling at her best friend.

"Shut up."

She made her way down to the shower block. Aubrey had been right in thinking Tom would be there, they had agreed on that yesterday but she didn't want him their anymore. Not now she couldn't get that alt girl out her head.

She turned into one of the cubicles and slipped off her towel, placing her wash kit on the floor before hearing the bathroom door open and close again. Oh great, Tom's here. She thought, but she didn't hear him say anything as mystery person started the shower in the next shower along.

"But I can't hear a word you say
I'm talking loud, not saying much
I'm criticized but all your bullets ricochet
Shoot me down, but I get up

I'm bulletproof, nothing to lose
Fire away, fire away
Ricochet, you take your aim
Fire away, fire away"

She slid the divider curtain across to see her mystery girl singing, of course, her lady jamm. "You Can sing!" She yelled scaring the other girl out of her skin. Reality came over her to see what had just happened, she wasn't covered up 'but what the hell, I'll roll with it.' She though, turning her full attention to the beautiful bodied girl in front of her.

After the fair Beca had decided to take a relaxing shower, never did she think that this would happen. She had been singing along to one of her favourite songs when the blue eyed ginger had ambushed her, reviling a lot more than what she had intended.

"Dude! Get out." She yelled, trying to pull the curtain back but it wasn't happening. The ginger was now stood in the shower with her.

"No, not until you sing." She said, shaking her head, making her hair fall over her shoulders.

When the other girl had refused to leave her shower she tried using another curtain to cover up but her hands were already wet and she couldn't grip it properly. She gave up and refused to sing; sometimes being as stubborn as she was put her in the worst of places, not that she was complaining too much.

"Please, I love that song, it's my jamm. My lady jamm." Chloe said with a wink. Beca had resulted in turning around, facing the wall. This way not so many scares showed up.

"That's nice." she said, looking over her shoulder.

"So can you sing it?" The ginger girl was not giving up. Beca turned around and continued singing Titanium which resulted in one of the most awkward duet she had ever sung.

"You have a lovely voice." She looked behind Chloe to see a totally naked guy checking them both out. She looked at Chloe who just smiled, hugged her and left her to continue showering.
