Trouble in Bella Town

Beca was waiting for Chloe outside their accommodation block, she was just about to text Chloe when she felt two arms rap around her neck as she was hugged from behind. Beca turned around and hugged her girlfriend back.

"Aubrey's asked everyone to be at practice early so we have to go now." Chloe said, brushing a few strands of Beca's hair behind her ear.

"Fine, that just means that we have to hang out for longer later. There's someone else I want you to meet." Beca said as they turned and headed off to the gymnasium where the Bella's practiced.

Practice was just as tedious as always. Aubrey pushed the girls until their bodies wanted to collapse.

"Okay girls, same time tomorrow." Aubrey said, leaving the tired girls behind her as she walked back to her dorm.

"Where are we going Beca?" Chloe asked as they drove out of campus in Francis' car.

"You'll see, just trust me." Beca said, grabbing hold of Chloe's hand and squeezing it.

A few minutes later and they were parked up, Beca jumped out and went to grab some flowers out of the back of the car. She pulled out a single rose from the bundle and handed it to Chloe, kissing her on the lips before leading her into the grave yard behind them.

"You're not going kill me are you?" Chloe said as they walked through the gravestones, following Beca.

"No, I could never do that, to you anyway." She said, moving to sit next to a stone. Chloe sat down next to her, peering over to see the name on the stone.

"I thought you're last name was Michael." She asked, turning to Beca who was arranging the flowers around the grave.

"It is now. But Francis fostered me when I was nine and we agreed to change my last name. Chloe, this is my mom, Sapphire. A few months before my ninth birthday my birth father snapped her neck then tried to shoot me because, well because of something but my twin sister pushed me out the way and she was shot in the stomach. He tried to shoot again but the gun fail to fire and he just ran off.I was left there, just cradling her head as she smiled up at me and said everything was going to be okay, but then it was like she was falling asleep. I could feel her breathing still next to me when I snuggled up to her, cuddling her. I don't know what happened after that, I must have fell asleep because when I woke up I was in a car with a load of cops and a guy that said he'd look after me until someone else would.." Beca's voice had cracked and monotonal, staring at nothing and rocking back and forth slightly.

"Beca, I'm sorry, I had no idea." Chloe said, moving to hug her girlfriend and kiss her check. "It's nice to meet you Sapphire. Your daughters beautiful by the way, as well as smart, funny, caring. Oh, and she's an amazing singer slash DJ." Beca smiled as Chloe stared talking. She couldn't believe how well her girlfriend had reacted.

The two girls stayed in the grave yard for about an hour, huddled up together before Beca got to her feet and wiped her tears away. Chloe turned her around so they were facing each other and kissed Beca's face, stopping any more tears in their tracks before pulling her girlfriend into a hug.

Bella practice increased drastically as the first round of the ICCA's drew nearer and Beca and Chloe struggled to spend much time together. The competition came up and they got into the semi finals but were almost sent home for good; this made Aubrey increase practise impossibly longer, cutting any time the two girls had together off altogether.

At the semi finals Beca knew they weren't going to make it threw but her plan backfired as the girls started to gang up on her as they left the stage.

"What the hell was that Beca? You just lost our place in the finals." Aubrey yelled as Beca walked ahead of the others.

"What we had wasn't going to cut it, I was trying to help." Beca yelled, turning around to face the girls.

"It's okay Beca, we still have next year." Chloe cut in, stepping forward and holding Beca's hand.

"No Chloe. Beca, give me your scarf and you can hand in the rest of your uniform tomorrow. You're no longer a part of the Bella's." Aubrey said, tightening her jaw and holding her hand out. Beca did as she was told and walked out of the building, heading towards campus.

The next few weeks Beca found a lot more time on her hand s than she had first intended. However, a lot of that time she was without Chloe whom was still participating in Bella practice. Beca could feel the two of them drifting apart and it scared her, nobody had ever made her feel as happy as Chloe did. She wasn't sure what she'd do without the dorky ginger that had stolen her heart and given her own in return.

One Saturday evening she decided to do something about it, she was head over heels for Chloe and she had started to fall in love with the girls she spent so much time with. If getting into the Bella's again was the only way to get them back then what was a little grovelling to Aubrey.

She headed down to the gymnasium and the site in front of her made her giggle. Lilly was making puke angels and spreading the horrid smell, Cynthia Rose had her hand on Stacie's butt and Fat Amy had Chloe and Aubrey in headlocks while they were wrestling for the pitch pipe.

Beca walked over and picked it up, turning everyone's attention onto her. Everyone moved to stand around her as she held the pitch pipe out to Aubrey how held out her hands but moved to close Beca's fingers around the pipe.

"Still got those mixes?" Aubrey asked, giving an pleading smile to Beca who smiled and nodded her head, moving to link arms with Chloe before kissing her.

"I thought we didn't make it?" Beca said, looking at all the Bella's.

"Oh yeh, we made it through disqualification, not all the boys from the other team we actually in college so, we're in." Aubrey said, smiling at Beca and hugging her, which to Beca was the single most weirdest yet relieving things to have happened in a long time.

Beca cut down practice time to give the Bella's a chance to relax but also so she could spend more quality time with Chloe. She weaved a few songs together for the finals and paired with the new choreography which was planned by Chloe, it wasn't long before the Bella's were kicking ass and psyched about the competition.

I night of the finals, the Bella's were waiting in the wings, watching their competitors walk off the stage. Aubrey drew out long breath and turned to the Bella's.

"Let's do this." She said, smiling at the Beca; the two had become close in the past month, much to Chloe's delight.

Beca's mix consisted of Price Tag, Don't You (Forget About Me) and Give Me Everything with bits of party in the USA and Just The Way You Are. The Bella's totally killed it and blasted the judges out of the water, of course, coming first place.

After the competition Chloe followed Beca up to her dorm.

"Really Chloe, I'm really tired." She said, stripping off the new Bella's uniform and slipping on her PJ's.

"I know, so am I,." Chloe said, also taking off her clothes and climbing into Beca's bed, cuddling up to her girlfriend as they drifted off to sleep.
