It had been 3 months since quiet returned to the Seychelles. Snake finally worked out the whole Cipher dilemma with the cripple. Mute knew that he would never see her again. It hit him pretty hard. Mute would eventually find love again, but that's a story for another shitty fan fiction. Quiet however was less affected by the split. She and Snake got married and lived happily ever after. The end
