When I woke up the next morning, I was in the bathroom floor, sprawled out. Both of my arms, covered with my blood, drying out. I struggle, with just sitting up, I slowly rise to my feet to look at the damage through the mirror. My eyes widen at the bloody counter area, "What the.." I trail off glimpsing down at my bloody arms. My arms have deep cuts all over. I look around for my razors, they are on the bottom of my shower. I wrap my arms 4 times each in gauze and start cleaning up all of the blood. I start to feel dizzy, so I decide go sit down on my bed. Hours that felt like minutes past and I wake up a tiny, plain room. "Oh, thank God you are awake, baby girl." A familiar voice says.
I look over to my right and see a screen that shows my heart beat. "Where am I!" I shriek.
"Sweetie, Breeze, honey! Calm down, you are in the hospital," I recognise the voice, my mom. She starts to cry.
Why am I here? I start to think over an over again. My mom starts to speak words, that I can't comprehend. "What? What are you saying!"
"Honey-" The door slamming open stops her. It's a tall man, probably around 30, comes over to me and starts to fiddle with the gear beside me. "I'm checking your daughter's blood amount." The doctor says.
"Will she be okay?" My mother says strengthening up.
"Her blood amount is still low..." I start falling asleep and I don't hear the rest of what the doctor says about my blood amount.
"Breeze, I want to spent the rest of my life with you," He says hugging me tightly. "I love you."
I hug him back, tears hitting the shoulder of his white v-neck. I love him too, but I've never said it back because I was never exactly sure if I did. I lean up from his, now soaked, shoulder and look him in the eyes, "Hey," Harry says wiping the tears from my cheeks. "Why are you crying?"
I shake my head and hug him again. I've missed him, it's been almost 2 months since I've seen him. Harry's dad made him go to California to go to
his aunt's funeral, and he had to make sure his family was going to be okay. "I love you, too," I whisper into his shoulder.
I hear a loud voice yelling out to me asking if I'm okay, the noise wakes me up, "Mom, what's going on!"
She calms down and starts packing her clothes, folding them perfectly and sliding them into her suit case. "Sweetie, you slipped into a coma, due to the lack of blood you had, you were in the coma for a week, the doctors didn't know how it happened again, but they figured out how to get you more blood in time."
I look at her confused, "In time for what?"
My mom starts to sob, "If they didn't give you the amount of blood you needed in time, you'd be dead right now."
I decide to drop the subject, "When can I leave?"
"Now. I brought you some clothes from home, if you didn't want to wear what you had on that night."
I get up and get dressed into the clothes my mom picked out for me: a white shirt that says "Demi<3" and a picture of Demi Lovato under the words, a pair of light colored short shorts, and my favorite pair of black converse. "Let's go!" My moms yells when I walk out of the bathroom. As we walk down the hallway of the hospital, I put my hair into a messy bun and pull out my phone.
80 texts from Anna, my best friend, 83 from Niall, my other best friend, and 15 from my mom. Most of the texts from Anna and Niall are saying "Oh my God are you okay!", "Text me back!" , "Your mom told me what happened, Breeze! Why!" , and "I miss you. I hope you feel better!:-)." My moms' texts are all from that night asking me if I was okay, mostly. She also called me 20 times.
"Good morning, y'all!" The receptionist says to us when we reach the front desk. "What happened to you, miss?" She asks me, pointing to my gauzed up arms.
My mom gives the lady the evil eye, "Now that is none of your business, is it?" Her voice gets stronger and angrier. "What place are you in to ask a 15 year old girl what happened to her! Please tell me, because if you are in the place of asking her that, I'd love to know!" The receptionist responds with a calm voice, "I'm sorry ma'am, that was very disrespectful of me," She looks at me. "Miss, I am terribly sorry for asking what happened to you, it is not my business."
I look at her, her eyes worried and sad. "It's okay," I say with a smile.
When we got done with the paperwork, my mom dropped me off with Niall and Anna at Starbucks.
"Breeze!" Anna squeaks and runs to me and hugs me, almost dropping me to the ground when my mom leaves.
"Hey, Anna!" I say excitedly. She smiles and walks me over to the table she was sitting at outside. "I got you a mango refresher, your favorite!"
I smile and take a sip of my drink, "Where's Niall?" I say curiously.
"He had to pick Heidi up from her house, so he's running late." She says rolling her eyes and taking a sip from her very berry hibiscus refresher.
"Oh. I thought this was just gonna to be me, you, and Niall, not his one man posey too." I say when Niall drives up in his 1989 black, shiny Ferrari, that's blasting "American Girl" by Bonnie McKee.
"Hey y'all! Isn't today just a wonderful day to be in Houston, Texas!" Heidi says walking up in her 3 inch tall pumps with the same outfit on as me except her shirt says "#Swaggie" on it.
"Yeah," Anna and I both say glumly. Why did Niall bring her, she is always trying to perk Anna and I up, but with her around there's a slim chance we will be happy.
"Hey, Breezy!" Niall yells running up to with a huge smile on his face. I stand up to give him a hug, but he decides to pick me up and spin me around like he did before he met Heidi. Once he sets me down he says hello to Anna and she gives him a small smile. Heidi looks at me then down to my arms a few times, "Again?" She says smacking her gum.
"What the hell did you just say?" I give her a mean look.
"I said 'Again?' Did you really do that again?"
"Heidi, don't," Niall says sternly.
"What, Niall? What's so wrong with being curious?"
"It's none of your business, Heidi. Does that give you a good enough answer or do I have to spell it out for you?" I say disgusted.
After that scene, Anna and I leave Heidi and Niall at the table and she takes me home. On the drive home Anna says, "I hope he broke up with her after we left."
I chuckle and get out of the car, "Thanks for taking me home, Anna."
I walk up the porch stairs and walk into the living room. I find my mom in the kitchen with a bag half way full, "Sweetie, we need to talk."
