Friend?

Bryce woke up to the sound of moans echoing through his apartment and he knew exactly what was happening. His neighbors were getting freaky after an argument that kept him up all night. His bloodshot eyes glanced at the clock and he groaned once he realized what time it was. It was six in the morning and he had only gotten one hour of sleep and if he wanted to get up for class he should probably go to sleep but the only problem with that was the fact that he wouldn't be able too here. Bryce looked at his phone and reached out to grab it only to have it fall off, "Crap." His groan was hoarse due to him still being sleepy.

Bryce looked up Brock in his contacts and hit the dial button. Brock and Bryce had one class together and he knew that the male would let him stay with him if needed because Brock was a nice guy. They had become really close in such a short amount of time and he was thankful of it. If Brock agreed it would be because his roommate was a horn dog who liked to stay out all night and go to class after having a great night with some chick.

"Hello?" Brock answer after five minutes. "Hey man can I ask a favor?" There was a pause. "Yeah, what is it?" Bryce could tell he had woken him up and that alone made him feel guilty. "Care if I come over and catch some sleep? My neighbors aren't the best and are doing things.." Silence. The sound of Brock shuffling then moving echoed through his ear giving him the idea that he was looking around for his roommate. "Not tonight. Mister douche bag is passed out in his bed, I hear him snoring. You can today after class though cause he'll be gone."

Bryce whispered something under his breath and sighed. "Alright thanks man." With that the two ended the call and Bryce plopped back down onto his mattress, allowing his body to sink into it. He stared up at the ceiling as moan echoed through his room. It was awkward for him so he pulled himself out if bed like he normally did and got dressed shortly after taking a shower.

Bryce wondered how his neighbors made it to class on time and if they even cared about their lives. As far as he could tell they only cared about sex and their love life. It was plenty of his business when he was kept up because of it.

Bryce entered the coffee shop and took a seat, running a hand through his golden locks as he did so. The sound of heel clacking echoed through the air which caused him to look over and see the same waiter that too his and Ryan's order before making her way to him. He wanted to roll his eyes but instead he gave a small smile to her in which she returned with sarcasm. "May I take your order?"

Bryce was about to order when a guy with brown hair entered the shop and looked right at him with a small smile. "Hey man." The guy said as if he had known Bryce for a long time. Bryce just raised a brow at the man who took a seat right in front of him "Um, hi?" His tone made the brunette chuckle and grin. "I texted you last night. I asked what we did."

The younger male just stared at the man in front of him as he tried to remeber if what this guy said was true. Then he made a face as it hit him in the face. "Oh! Okay. I didn't know who you were Smitty." Bryce watched the male shrug it off with a toothy grin as he shoved his hands in his hoodie pocket and looked out the window. "I'll give you two a little more time.." The waitress said as she turned on her heel and walked off. "So I saw you through the window and decided to ask you if you could help me with this paper. I managed to stop by class last time and get one but.." The blonde watched as the brown haired male pulled out a sheet and slid it over to him causing Bryce to furrow his brow.

To Bryce it was easy work that wouldn't take but a few minutes but the question was if he really wanted to help this man. Smitty seemed like a nice guy but he also seems like the jock type. 'Not in high school anymore Bryce..' He thought as he pushed it back to Smitty. "Yeah, I can help you out."

Bryce and Smitty spent what they could in the coffee shop. After finishing the paper the two men got something to eat then decided to walk to the college together. Bryce was ready for winter to be over with for the tune of snow crunching under his weight was getting old as well as the sound of teeth chattering.

"So today we will be having groups assigned. I already got them picked out so don't even think of pairing.." Ritz smiled as he held his papers between his fingers, eyes staring right at Bryce. The younger male just coughed awkwardly and Ritz continued, "So take one and pass it. Not everyone will get one just this side. Find your name and call out your partners." Everyone began to grab papers and pass it back until It reached Bryce. He looked down to see Smitty's name on it.

He looked up at Ritz who just grinned and looked away from the blondes haze. Had he known about the two becoming friends? "Smitty," Bryce said and the male looked at him. "I've got you as my partner."

"Nice!"

The male made his way to Bryce and took a seat. The room grew silent as Ritz stepped up and cleared his throat, "Your assignment is..."
