Chapter 10

Okay im finally updating sorry this took so long but ive had major writing block and honestly havent felt like writing.

Riley's POV

At the sound of the knocking, I let out a small sigh of relief in being given a small break from the smothering awkwardness. I go to open the door and there's Amy, Kira, Farkle, and Maya, who's belly is huge. "Hey, guys!! What are y'all doing here?" I ask Maya and Farkle in excitement. "Oh, we just wanted to visit because it's almost time for the baby to be born," Maya says. "Oh well that's great, Maya, Farkle, this is Amy and Kira, Kira, Amy, this is Farkle and Maya, I've been friends with them forever, anyways come in!" I exclaim. "Oh, nice to meet you," Kira says as she walks into the dorm. "The pleasures ours," Farkle says after noticing that the only thing Maya was going to do was glare at Kira and Amy.

Maya's POV

Okay I know I shouldn't be rude but these are the girls that are trying to take my place! I can't help it! "Hey, Ri-" I pause when I see Lucas and some random guy already in the room. "Umm Riley, can I talk to you for a second?" "Yeah sure, what's up?" Riley asks as I lead her towards the bathroom. "Okay well first what's Lucas doing here and who's that guy?" I question her. "Oh Lucas came to surprise me with the fact that he's going to school here and 'that guy' is my boyfriend Brian." She tells me. "Oh cool also who are those girls and why are they here?" I ask her, mildly upset. "They're my new friends and Maya don't worry they could never take your place." She tells me reassuringly. "Pffttt I'm not worried," I reply smartly. "Yeah you are, I can see it all over your face," Riley says chuckling. "Okay maybe I am but can you blame me, we hadn't seen each other in like two years!" I exclaim. "It's fine you're still my best friend but anyway how's the baby and have you decided on a name?" Riley asks excitedly. "Okay well it's a boy and his name is Joshua Michael Minkus," I tell Riley. "Aww, that's so cute!" She exclaims. "Yeah well I was wondering, would you like to be his godmother?" I ask her. "Oh my gosh of course!" Riley yells. "Nothing would make me happier!" "Okay well then let's go back outside," I tell her, laughing at her reaction. "Okay c'mon let's go." She says.

Farkle's POV

We all laugh when we hear Riley screaming because we all know how dramatic she is and we love her for it. When Maya comes back in I smile and ask her if she asked. Maya just nods her head with a small smile on her lips. "Ask what?" Amy (i think I'm not really sure which one's which) asks. "Oh well as you can tell Maya's pregnant and we wanted to ask Riley to be his godmother since we already asked Lucas to be his godfather," I tell her, smiling. "Oh that's really sweet, what's his name gonna be?" She asks smiling. "His name is Joshua Michael Minkus," I tell her. "That's really cute," Kira says. "Yeah I'm so honored to be his godfather, I mean someone has to teach the kid about sports." Lucas jokes. "Haha, Lucas I'm plenty good at sports," I say. "Okay, sure Honey whatever you say," Maya says laughing at me. "Maya I can't believe how mean you are to me, I want a divorce," I exclaim joking. All of a sudden Maya starts crying, Brian looks confused and Lucas is backing away slowly, Amy and Kira are both shocked still and only Riley starts tentatively walking towards Maya. "Hey peaches what's wrong?" Riley asks quietly. "He said he wants to divorce me, he doesn't love me!" Maya sobs. "Oh Maya I do love you what are you talking about, I was just kidding," I say. "Farkle you know how sensitive I am to these things why would you do that!" Maya exclaims while punching me in the arm. Everyone just starts laughing and I just shake my head at her. "I know I'm sorry, I'll never do it again, I promise," I say. "Okay fine," Maya says pouting. "Welp that was interesting," Riley says laughing at us.

*two long long hours later*

Lucas' POV

"Okay bye, you guys," Riley yells out the door after showing Amy, Kira and Brian out. Soon me Maya, Farkle, Riley, and me all settle down with some coffee (and tea for Maya) and sit to talk about life in general. "So, how are things going with Brian, Riley?" I ask her since they barely spoke to each other all night and they didn't even sit next to each other. Riley sighs and starts talking, "Well it's just-
