"Addie dearest" I heard my grandmother call from down stairs
"Coming Grannie!" I called tiredly from my bed.
Today was the day I was going to see my mother for the first time in months. I'm not so sure how to feel. I probably should feel all excited and all but I'm not.
As I was running down the stairs I got hit with a sweet aroma of pancakes.
"I made you breakfast. I don't want you to go see your mum with an empty stomach."
After breakfast I went back upstairs to go get my outfit for the day on. I really had no clue how to dress. I ended up wearing skinny jeans a blue shirt and a black cardigan, and for shoes I put on white sandals. After getting dressed I put my makeup on. Same routine for makeup. First gold eye shadow. Then eyeliner. Finally mascara. Last I sprayed perfume on me. " Miami heat"
" grammie I'm ready."
"Well don't you look astonishing!"
"Thanks. I didn't really know how to dress."
"You look-"
I cut her off.
" what do you think mum will think of me."
" she'll think you are perfect. Just like she thought of you the first time she saw you."
" If she thought I was perff she wouldn't have left me,"
"Oh Addie" " let's get going, shall we?"
I was meeting mum at a studio about an hour away. The car ride felt like it took hours. Not just one but several hours. I fell into a deep slumber. I woke up with a terrible dream. My mum told my Grannie that I wasn't her child. Great, now I really was worried.
" we are about 5 mins away. Aren't you excited Addalynn?"
" sure.." I didn't want to tell Grannie about my dream.
We pulled up into the studio parking lot. There were some paps but not many. My mum was waiting outside for me. I got a terrible feeling in my stomach. Grannie walked me over to my mum.
" I'm so glad to see you Addie! Would you like to come inside?"
