Forgotten

The reoccurring gunshots going up off made me jump awake. I sat up rubbing my eyes. It was another nightmare. I sighed rolling out of bed. My feet hit the cold floor as i walked into the bathroom,getting ready for school. The bright lighting made all the fresh bruises bright purple and brown. Im just lucky my step dad didn't try killing me yet. I looked at myself in the mirror as dark circles under my eyes appeared. I never got enough sleep besides the nightmares or getting jolted awake. I put on a sweater to hide all the scars and marks and slipped on jeans. I grabbed my book bag heading downstairs. My step dad was passed out on the couch from drinking last night. I slipped past him quietly trying not to get beat before i head to fucking hell for the day. I walked down the quiet street to the school. It was fall, nice chilly weather. I walked through the parking lot to the front doors. I headed into the school for a long day of misery.
P.O.V.- Alex
"You want me to join your pack and be part of your medical team?"asked John Alexis's step dad. The two men stood in front of John. "It would be an honor with your brilliant work."said Luke one of the two men. John stretched and stared at the two men. Luke was the alpha. Alex was his brother he was 6"3 and had clear blue eyes and dark brown hair. While Luke stood at 6"7 with piercing blue eyes and dark black hair. Alex stared at John as the back door opened in the kitchen where they we're. He looked up to see Alexis staring at his brother and him. She turned towards her father as he gave a sluggish smile. "Alexis I need to talk to you"said John through his gritted teeth. Her facial expression went blank and she became pale. He led her down the hallway. "What do you think of him?" Asked Luke. I ran my fingers through my hair. "I guess he seems alright." I said. Luke growled grabbing my shoulder. "You need to pay attention more,this job will be yours one day." He said. Luke was the alpha of the pack, i was next in command after his time was up. My head was snapped towards the hallway as we both heard a yelp. You gotta love werewolf hearing. Luke started towards the hallway. "John is everything okay in there?" He asked. John grunted "Everything is fine." He stepped out of a room closing the door. "My daughter needed help." He smiled. Luke looked at him before nodding.
P.O.V.- Alexis
I started shaking. I just got beat for coming home from school early. He kicked my ribs so hard i threw up blood. Slowly i made my way across the floor to grab the sharp knife he had threatened to use. I already lost enough blood maybe it'll kill me. I slit my wrists on my veins cutting deep. I laid on the floor shaking. I could hear footsteps as i grew instantly tired. I closed my eyes passing out.
