Chapter 3

Adrien's pov
Physics
I was sitting next to Marinette. I looked at her and realized that she was still up sad from the incident just now with Chloé. So I wrote a note and passed it to her. The note read: Hey princess... a penny for your thoughts but how about we spent our lunch time together(somewhere private*wink,wink*) and talk you seem to be having a very tiring day. Okay princess?
End of note.
I watched as she unfold the piece of paper...
Marinette's pov
My mind was racing about the accident that happened earlier with Chloé, was I too harsh with her? Especially when Adrien joined me, as much as I hate it, she doesn't deserve to be ganged up like that... but don't get me wrong though, it's fine that Adrien defended me but maybe we shouldn't have done I together... a slight nudge broke my train of thoughts. I looked at Adrien but he simply looked at my notebook. I followed his gaze and found a note there. I looked up, relieved to see my Physic teacher back facing us and writing something on the board. So I opened the note and read it. I looked at Adrien and saw that he was starring intensely at me so I gave him a slight nod saying that I would come.
(Time skip till lunch, I mean you seriously want me to write about school stuff?)
When the bell rang for lunch I saw Adrien waiting for me at my locker and he was holding something in his hand...
Adrien's pov
When the bell rang for lunch I immediately bolted for the door, I needed to make sure that I was there waiting for Marinette first with food at hand so it would seem and feel very romantic.
Marinette's pov
When I walked in to the locker room immediately spotted Adrien at my locker waiting for me with a basket of food in his hand. I walked over to him and he did a very dramatic bow and said" princess! So, are you ready for our lunch? I bought all your favourite food." I giggled and played along by  saying" why of course my knight in shining armor. Let's go eat." He nodded his head and stick out an arm for me to hook through and I gladly accepted. Adrien and I were currently sitting under the school steps enjoying the food and each other's comfortable presences when Adrien broke it by asking me a question I did not expect. He asked" Mari, you said just now after the fight with Chloé you um, said that you were used to it, what does that mean?" After awhile while I was still thinking how to answer Adrien's question, when Adrien said again" hey, it's okay you know LB, you don't have to answer me." I didn't really know how to answer his question but I said" yeah... I  know but I guess it- it would be good to tell you the reason. I- no. Back when you haven't come yet, like when we were thirteen, Chloé and I were close friends, but then there was this guy named Perie he was Chloé's crush when we were talking about our classmates for some reason, I asked her if she has a crush and she blushed and said that she did. I was literally dying from the suspension and I  was on my knees begging her to tell me who her crush was but she was very mysterious about it. So when Perie asked me out, even though I don't like him I agreed so I wouldn't hurt his feelings but then Chloé found me with Perie having ice-cream and his hand was atop mine, she immediately thought that I betrayed her. The next day she came up to me and slapped my face. I- I thought that I deserved it so for the next few years, I let her bully me until Alya and Nino couldn't take it anymore they had this heart- to - heart with me and they helped me stand up to Chloé and now that I am able to stand up to her, she finds other people to bully so I stand up for them it feels good but sometimes, sometimes I would just let her bully me because even though I know it's not my fault with the Perie incident I can't help but feel a little guilty." After saying that, I broke down crying. Adrien patted my back soothingly and mumbled words to make me feel better.
Well, this is it people. That's my theory of why Chloé bully's Marinette but there are also a bunch of other theory of why Chloé bully's Marinette but this make the most sense to me so that's why I want to write this. By the way have you guys read my other story? If not, pls read it. It's called: One Shot ML. Pls read it. And I won't be able to update for a while because I'll be camping with my besties so this is all you'll get for two weeks butttttt, not to worry, because I have a few one shots already written and i just need to check through then I'll publish it okay?
