My name is William and this is the story of how I met the guy of my dreams and survived the feral jungle known as high school. My dad and I just moved into the town of peach creek Saskatchewan. My mum died when I was 5 and it's been 12 years since then and I'm now 17 so as far as my memory's go its always just been me and my dad. We moved right after New Years, dad basically cut all his ties with friends so he could come to see his family more here, I still have a friend who I write to on a weekly basis. We used to live in the northern region of Alberta and now we are in the southern region of Saskatchewan so the climate change is very drastic. Today was the first I've seen our new house. Well it's new to me but looks to be at least 100 years or older. It's got two stories and is made of all wood painted white but with it being so old lots of the paint has chipped off. It's on a small hill which is an 8 minute drive from town. My dad says it's been in our family name for as long as its been standing so my guess was pretty close I guess. We had finished moving all our boxes and furniture into the house. Dad told me that while he was unpacking on the main floor I should start taking my stuff up and picking a room. I took two boxes and began my accent up the creaky stairs. When I made it to the top I took a look around. The upstairs consisted of a long hallway with 4 rooms one master bedroom, two regular bedrooms, and a bathroom and a storage closet at the end of the hall beside the bathroom. I picked one of the regular sized bedrooms since they were both the same size I just picked the one on the opposite side of the bathroom and storage closet. I opened the door and placed the boxes on the king size bed and sat down next to them. 'Man this house is really old' I thought to myself looking at the peeled paint on the walls. Noticing the rather thick layer of duct resting on my windowsill. I then proceeded to look around and see how dusty everything was. Being the rather clean person I am I couldn't help but wrinkle my nose at it all. I then left the bed and walked down stairs to dig around the boxes for a rag of sorts. I then found one and to my luck a bottle of Windex and then left to go back upstairs. Before I left I saw dad reassembling some of our furniture and rested my head on my hands on the stairs railing before asking "how's a going dad?" He then stopped screwing one of the legs to our couch to look up and smile "eh pretty good so far still got to reassemble the big chair and then I can unload the rest of the stuff. You doing some cleaning?" He asked pointing to the rag and Windex in my hand "yeah you know me I have to have everything spic and span." I responded "well once I finish here and your done cleaning why don't we go into town to get you registered for school for Monday?" He asked "yeah sure." I responded halfway up the stairs. Once I reached the top I went straight to my room with determination in my strides. I opened the door and began my assault on the dust and grime starting with the windows. Once the window was spotless I noticed a car driving toward our new home. It was a blue pickup truck with a slightly rusted bumper, I couldn't quite see who was driving the truck from my point of view so I stopped my cleaning and went back downstairs to tell my dad we had visitors. When I went downstairs dad had already put the legs of the big chair and was putting it right side up again. "Dad we have company" I told him, he turned to me with a confused look "wonder who it could be?" We both headed for the front door to the porch. Once we were there the truck had been parked and three people came out. A man wearing a brown leather coat despite this heat and a pair of jeans, a woman in the brightest pink poncho I've ever seen and some legging caprees , and a third....was a he and he had to be the most beautiful guy I've ever seen.....
