Falling For You (A Riarkle Story)

The Party

"Rowan?" Sabrina asked

Both Sabrina and Rowan were at Rowan's house, trying to plan her 16th birthday party. Rowan had already turned 16 a few days before but she decided to have her party a bit after.

"What is it Sabrina?" Rowan replied.

Rowan continued to look at a picture that was placed in front of the mantle in her room.

The picture was taken on Rowan's 15th birthday, Rowan was attempting to teach Corey how to dance. Sabrina took the picture because she thought it was a cute moment.

Sabrina sighed. "Rowan its been a month since you guys have even spoken, a month since Michael announced that Riarkle was over. I know you miss him"

"I do not miss him!" Rowan snapped

"Then tell me why you've been staring at that picture for the last hour instead of helping me plan your party?" Sabrina replied

Rowan sighed. "I just miss the old us. I miss who Corey and i use to be."

Sabrina looked up at her. "Rowan just tell him you miss him! I've seen Corey too, and he's just as miserable! Him and Ceci don't even talk anymore!" she said

Rowan groaned. "Sabs I can't... he broke my heart. Even if i wanted to talk to him, I don't know how i can ever forgive him" tears filled her eyes.

Sabrina sat next to her. "Row-boat, i think you should invite him to your birthday party. He really wants to come."

Rowan sniffed. "Do you think he'll come?

Sabrina laughed "Of course he will! He's been dying to see you outside of rehearsals, he really misses you Row"

Rowan nodded. "Send him one then, put Corey on the guest list"

***One week later***

"Oh Rowan you look beautiful!!!" Sabrina gushed

Rowan came down the stairs looking more beautiful than ever.

"Do you like it?" Rowan gushed

Sabrina grinned at her friend. "Rowan you look amazing, and Corey will think so too!"
