The Riarkle Kiss

The week dragged on for both Corey and Rowan. As each day went by, it was closer to the taping of the new episode.

The Riarkle Kiss.

*One week later*

"This is it Row" Sabrina told her in the dressing room.

They had been filming the past two hours, and they were about to film the last scene.

The Kiss was next.

"Sabrina Please..." Rowan sighed. "I'm nervous enough already! This week has been a disaster."

Sabrina frowned at her. "What the hell do you mean a disaster? Don't tell me you have feel-"

"Don't be stupid" Rowan snapped. "Of course I don't have feelings for Corey!"

"Then why so nervous huh?" Sabrina smirked

"I guess I'm a little worried.. I just don't want this kiss to change me and Corey" Rowan said sadly.

Sabrina put her arm around Rowan.

"Row boat, you and Corey have been best friends for what? Three years?"

Rowan nodded

"This kiss won't mean anything Rowan. Its called acting okay?" Sabrina said

"Corey! Rowan! ON THE SET!!" Michael called out

"Here we go.." Rowan said nervously

****Corey's dressing room*****

"Come on man, why are you so damn nervous?" Peyton asked annoyed

"You would be too if you had to kiss your best friend!" Corey snapped

"Listen man, I had to kiss Rowan too remember? It doesn't mean anything trust me" Peyton urged him.

Amir nodded. "Yeah i mean you and Rowan have been best friends for three years. Your fans have been wanting Cowan for how long now?"

"About three years" Corey groaned

"Exactly! And as far as i know, that never got between you and Rowan. You guys always keep it professional"

"Amir is right Corey." Peyton said. "You guys have never let shit like this bother you before, don't let this kiss get the best of you"

"Corey! Rowan! ON THE SET!!!" Michael called out

Corey groaned.

"Here we go" Amir said

*On the set*

"Alright guys.. just like we rehearsed these last couple days." Mj told them

"But Michael, we never exactly rehearsed the kiss!" Rowan cried

"Of course not" he simply said "Why ruin the good moment? You guys got this"

"You ready?" Corey looked at her.

Rowan nodded. Here we go.. she thought.

"Peaches I can't do this." Riley sighed

Maya looked annoyed. "Riley please.. Honey he's going to be here any second now. You NEED to tell him! Its now or never" she said

There was a soft knock on Riley's door

"And that should be him." Maya said. "Good luck Riley, you can do this!" she climbed out of the bay window

"Peaches don't leave me!" Riley cried.

But it was too late, Maya was gone.

"Riley can i come in?" Farkle asked outside the door

Riley sighed. "Sure Farkle, its open"

Farkle entered and sat down next to Riley.

"Farkle I-" she began

"Riley wait. Let me say something.. I've always told you I would always love you and Maya equally. Thats true, but i can't love you the same" Farkle said

"Wh-What? Why not?" Riley stuttered

"Because Riley.." Farkle sighed. "You're different. I've loved you since the first grade, and since then we've always been there for each other. I adore you Riley. I was with Smackle because i assumed it should be that way, since were both geniuses. But every time i saw you with Lucas, i couldn't help but feel jealous. I wanted to be that hero, that prince you've always dreamed about. As time went on, I found myself falling in love with you. When we thought you were moving to London? That was the worst day of my life because i couldn't even bare the thought to lose you Riley. That day, it made me realize how much you really mean to me. Riley, I really love you."

Farkle took her hand and looked deep in her eyes.

Riley's eyes filled with tears, she sat in shock by his beautiful words. The words she longed to hear for quite sometime now.

"I love you too farkle.. Lucas was only but a fairy tale. You're my reality, you're the one who's been here all along when i really needed you" she slowly said

Farkle smiled at her, that's when he began to lean into her.

Oh god this is it. they both thought.

I'm about to kiss Corey, Rowan thought. This could change everything

What if we feel something? Corey wondered. He saw himself lean in more and more to kiss her.

What's going to happen after all this is over? the both thought.

That's when their lips touched.

It was fierce,  their lips were on fire.

The kiss lasted about 10 seconds long, but the truth was it wasn't long enough for Corey and Rowan.

"AND.. CUT!!!" they both heard Michael yell

They kissed a second longer, and when they heard Michael again.

"Uh... guys i said cut?" Michael coughed

Corey and Rowan jumped apart.

Rowan looked wide eyed at Corey, and he looked at her the same.

"Rowan that was..-" Corey began to say

Rowan stood still and awaited anxiously for what he was about to say next.
