The music plays while the family walk by the casket. Kendrick stands next to Chad's brother. He wipes the tears away from his eyes. After the Family goes by .
The preacher says "We welcome you all here today , as we celebrate the life of Chad ....
Now we will Have a speech from the family...
After the family speaks Kendrick walked up to the podium.
"Um , i'm here today because cHad was my friend & brother"
He Paused.
"I remember our times together, I watched Him grow from a prince to a king ...."
before he could say anything else he starts to cry, Antonio walks Him off the stage .
The pastor walks back unto the podium and starts to read a verse from the bible .
"We Are reading from John 14 . Verses one to three.
1| "Do not let your hearts be troubled. Trust in God; trust also in me.
2| In my Father's house are many rooms; if it were not so, I would have told you. I am going there to prepare a place for you.
3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am."
He closes the bible .
The choir goes up to sing their song ...
"I'm goin' up yonder , I'm goin' up yonder, I'm goin' up yonder To be with my Lord..."
while the choir sings, the pallbearers balance the coffiin on there shoulders and carries it outside to the Hearse. Kendrick rode in the limo with the rest of the homies .
"Hey Ken you okay ?" Alan asked.
"yeaH , I'm good"
"Aye you seen that girl in back tho , she looked pretty familiar" Lucky asked.
"Who?!"
"I don't know she stood out cause of her outfit thats all i know"
"What she wore tho?" LBoog asked.
"Some shorts, a crop top & some big ass jordans"
"oh naw i aint see her"
The driver drove into the cemetary , they all gathered round the grave . The preacher stood in front of the casket.
"Ashes to ashes , dust to dust" The preacher says.
while everyone stood around the coffin , Family and friends started to weep..
At the end Kendrick and Antonio watched as they lowered the casket into the ground.
Kendrick squats while looking at the cemetary workers lowering the casket.
"Ima miss you lil' Homie" Antonio walked up behind him.
"You ready to go, Were the last ones here" Antonio placed his hand on Kendrick's shoulder.
"Yea, I'm Ready" Kendrick says while wiping his tears away."
Kendrick gets up , brushes the dirt off of His suit and walks off .
