I pulled to the nearest fast food restaurant I could find closest to the hotel.
"Are you fine?" I asked
"Yeah sure. Couldn't care less"
I bought us chicken and we started eating without saying a word. Each one of us was sinking into deep thoughts.
"Don't you have a date or anything today?" Mia asked me
"Nope tomorrow thought it's my first day at work."
"So you are going to live permanently here? Nice."
"You should live here to. Let's rent an apartment."I suggested but it was dropped
"I have one more year into medical school, I might come after, get a scholarship or something to any of the hospitals here."
"That's great! Ortho right?" I asked. She was an athlete. Orthopedics should be her forté
"Ding. Wrong. Cardio actually. Or general. But I have a thing for Cardio" She answered
The rest of the conversation went along like that, none of us went any near to what happened this afternoon. Mia was about to leave Korea in one and a half week to go finish her medical school.
"I have an idea" she said "Let's look for an apartment tomorrow! It will be fun" she said
"Sure but finish your chicken cause I am tired"
---The next day---
"I think we should cross this one out. It's too small if you will live with a roommate" Mia said. Great. The whole renting idea is stressful and tiring.
"What about this one? It has two rooms. We can find ourselves there. If you come, of course"
"I will try earn my residency program here in Korea. But that means studying. And I start in two weeks, so I gotta get back in London" she sighed
"What's wrong? Don't you wanna finish medical school?" I asked worried
"No its not that..." She was inhaling the outside air coming from the open window and she sighed again. "I don't want to leave Korea"
"Cmon Korea is here. It's not gonna walk away" but then I thought that's probably something deeper going on "Are you sure it is just Korea?"
"No...Maybe..I don't know" she sounded confused
"If it is about Jihoon and you are in love with him, then it will be hard leaving him behind. But considering the other day and your fight with your friend Jeonghan, it is not write to leave it like that. Go talk to him" I said
"I will see"

I poked Seungcheol I'm the middle of the night. I needed to talk. About anything. I needed to get distracted. Fighting with a friend. Damn, saying the word "friend" stings even more.
"What do you waaaant" he groaned. Sorry bruh
"I wanna talk" I said
"Well I don't, we have the talkshow tomorrow, go talk to someone else. I think Vernon or Seungkwan are awake, I heard laughing and screaming from...OMAIGOD"

We said at the same time
"Well uh I will just let them live their ugh anniversary or whatever" I said feeling slightly uncomfortable
I turned around to walk away when Coups grabbed my hand
"Because I literally have birth to you, and you know I can read you like an open book, just talk to her and figure this out. I am sure it was misunderstanding. It's not nice losing a friend." He said and pointed out the word "friend"
