      She always thought love was like sandcastles you build them up to be great only for the rush of water to bring it down. Love has never treated her fairly.

      Nova was living in the bustling city of New York with her mother who she loved dearly but left her and her siblings far to soon. Leaving behind three kids and a now widowed husband.

       After the death of Amelia the family of five broke. Every member of the family deciding to go their separate ways. The Step father would stay in New York with the youngest child Nate who had just turned five. The oldest Aaliyah back to Boston to continue to study Pre Med at Harvard University the next three years. 

     Then Nova, she decided to head back to La Push and do Online Courses for college. The girl missed her dad more then anything. She had always been the daddies girl. She would visit every summer up until she was sixteen when she had decided she wanted to live with her father full time. As much as she loved her life with her new step father and her siblings she missed Washington and her family on the rez. She missed the weather even if it was always gloomy and raining. That's what she loved about it.

   When she turned sixteen she finally decided to ask her mom to let her live with her father. Amelia agreed but soon after her mother fell ill. Cancer had taken over her body at a rapid rate. Amelia was given 2 months to live but even with that her mom held on for two years before she finally grew too tired. She said her final goodbye and left to what the family believed was a better place.

   As much as it hurt the family they knew it had to be done. Their step father promised to keep loving them, not that he could ever stop. He also agreed to continue supporting them financially. After all the man's net worth was about 600 million.

   "I'm gonna miss you stink bug." Nova smiled down at her little brother pulling him in to a tight hug. "You better call on my iPad sissy!" the young boy pouted his now big eyes watery. the two were best friends. Aaliyah was always busy so it was up to Nova to keep the little boy entertained while their parents were out. Nova's move is gonna affect him terribly. "promis."

      "Bye G." she said after moving and hugging her step father tightly. "please take care of yourself. Maybe I can get Nate for one of his school breaks? he'd love La Push." they both pulled away from the tight embrace. "G" the nickname for her step dad smiled. "I know he will.  I upped your allowance Love bug. so don't be surprised. let me know if you need more."

  "G you don't have to. what I get is more than enough."

   "I wanted to. Now go Carter is waiting in the car. "
