The day from hell

We arrive at the studio at 5pm. I'm not excited because all my friends are going to the mall or going to a game. Corey and Belle are here again today and they're going to a private and then a tap class. There privates with Gia. I wish I had a private with them because at least Corey understands me but no I have to go be with the 11 year olds. I walk in and Mackenzie comes up to me. "Hey Kenz. Did you have a good day?" "Yeah well apart from being with Maddie all day yeah great." Everyone thinks that Maddie and Mackenzie are like best friends and get on great but in reality Maddie bullies Mackenzie. "Girls rehearsal now!?!" Miss Abby screams from the other room. I get up and drag myself into studio A. "Okay girls this week the group number is called "all alone" it's a dark number and Maddie starts it and me Chloe and her are in the front row until one point where we go to the back and the others come to the front. It's a beautiful routine and it's really good. "Mackenzie jump higher. What are you doing Mackenzie?" What is up with Abby today Mackenzie isn't even doing anything wrong. She's just doing this because she knows one day Mackenzie will be better than Maddie. "Okay girls. Brooke go in studio B with Gianna. The rest of you go to studio C for the tap class." I run out of the studio and straight into studio B.

"Okay Brooke your solo this week is called "pure as a swan". Miss Abby told me to say that if you don't win that there'll be no more solos this season." Great first miss Abby can't be bothered. Then Gianna's being a cow. If I don't win I'll get no more solos. I learn my solo extremely quick as I'm used to doing these tricks. Gianna tells me to get my tap shoes and join the tap class. The reason is she wants to go smoke and she can't if she's teaching me. That or she's meeting her boyfriend so they can go to her place. She's so horrible. On dance moms they make her seem nice and that we like her. But non of us do except from Maddie because she loves Maddie. I deicide to just stay in Studio B because I may as well practice my solo even if Gianna doesn't care I might as well stay and practice. I press my music on when I realise that it's the music for my Acro class. Every week we have to choreography are own dance. This week I've perfected it already and my class isn't until Friday. I notice someone at the door. "Come in." I say quite loud so whoever it is can hear. "Oh sorry Brooke it's just me." Corey says. "It's fine we could work on the duet. If you want." "Nah I'd rather sit and talk." "Okay then." "So how was Abby today?" "She wasn't too bad. She mainly screamed at Kenzie." "So how was Gianna?" "Terrible she gave me 10 minutes to learn my solo. Then ran it for another 10 minutes and then left." "You know that I saw her the other day with Jax tongue down her throat." "Which ones he?" "The one with blonde long hair." "Oh I saw her with the one with brown hair yesterday. She's such a player." "I don't know how she gets the boys. She's not even that pretty. Any way talking of pretty had Chloe mentioned me?" "Yeah like every 5 minutes. She's like omg did you see that trick. Isn't he cute and me and Paige are just like ew no he's our cousin." "Haha. why aren't you in tap." "Didn't wanna go also the class isn't advanced enough. Why aren't you?" "Same." "Where's Belle?" "She's in the dancers den." "Should we get her because she'll be bored." "Yeah sure. Can you bring my phone as well." "Yeah sure I'll be one minute."
He comes back with Belle. "Hey Brookie. Your phones been going crazy." Belle says. I grab my phone and I have like 30 missed messages from Nolan and loads from other people from school. I open Nolans and he's sent me loads of texts saying he misses me and that he want to FaceTime. I look through my other messages there mainly just people from school calling me names and telling me I can't dance. I just ignore them ones and press on face time. "What ya doing Brooke?" "What?" I ask. "What you doing?" "Oh I'm about to FaceTime Nolan." I press on the call button and after a few rings he picks up.

"Hey Brookie where are you?"
"Oh I'm in studio B with Corey and Belle."
"Oh I didn't mean to interrupt you at dance. I'll go if you want."
"No it's fine for a few minutes."
"No baby I'll go. Talk tomorrow?"
"Yeah. Love you."
"Love you two."

He says and I hang up. "Awh you guys are so cute." Belle says. "What about you and Thomas?" "Yeah we're good. He's here actually. He's in the tap class." "When does it finish?" "Um 8. It's 7:50 now so they'll be out in a minute." "I'll Probs have to learn my trio with Maddie and Chloe and Paige will have to learn her trio with Nia and Kendal. So I better go in the den." "K see you later." Belle says hugging me as I leave. I walk to the dancers den and the others are there changing there shoes. "Guys what we doing?" I ask. "Where doing the group again." Paige says. "Yay." I say sarcastically. I walk in and the music starts and I notice Kenzie isn't here. I look upstairs and Christi isn't there. Melissa looks annoyed and the other moms look disgusted. We dancing and Mackenzie rushes in. She has clearly been crying. Miss Abby signals her over. There whispering when miss Abby pulls her into a hug. Which is very strange as miss Abby never does things like that unless it's to Maddie. We practice a few time more through and we're leaving to go home. I get in the car and see Mackenzie getting in Christi's car. "Mom why is Kenzie staying at Chloe's?" I ask. "When Melissa was watching the tap class and Kenzie was learning her solo. Then Kenzie came upstairs and Melissa was being a B**** as always. And she was saying how Kenzie wasn't improving." "Is she joking she's amazing." I interrupt. "I know well anyway she was saying how good Maddie was and then Christi asked if Melissa favoured Maddie and she said yes. Well Mackenzie was on the stairs and heard everything and asked to stay at hers tonight." "That explains why Abby was nice to her." I think. Poor kenz I'll give her a big hug tomorrow.
