Ink smiled over at fresh who was sleeping sounding in the hospital bed, he was so fragile like this. Ink was so afraid of hurting his brother that he didn't even want to touch him incase he turned to dust. He sighed lightly and wrote down fresh's condition on a clipboard, he looked over him one last time before heading off to the basement.
The basement was a cold and dark place, the walls were cracked in many ways, the floor was covered in dirt and dust. Inside the basement was three cell hand made by ink himself, the bars were clean and shiny, unlike the surrounding area, in the cells were one bed for each cell, a sink, a window and a prisoner. The three prisoners ink kept down there was swap papyrus, Geno and reaper. Ink kept the three here ever since fresh went into a coma.
Swap papyrus stayed silent for most of the time, Geno cried nonstop as reaper tried to get out, but all attempts were futile. Ink checked on them once a day but today's visit was different however "alright Geno, you're free to go" Geno looked over at ink with a wide smile "r-really?" he asked him, ink nodded and opened his cell door "that also means you get to leave too, reaper" Ink knew he couldn't release Geno without his 'boyfried', reaper. He opened the others cell and he immediately ran over to hug Geno "my poor baby" Ink sighed "please leave, I have a lot of work to do" the two nodded and left ink alone with swap papyrus "so... You're the only one left... Better enjoy it... Because you're gonna rot in here!" he snapped and walked out of the basement.
