Chapter Twelve

Serena POV:

His eyes went up and down my body like he was looking over a new suit we was about to buy. Jason put his hand on my shoulder and pushed off the robe. "Jason.."

"Well if you're going to wear this than you need it inspected, Don't you?" I didn't know what to say but I grabbed the robe and hid my body under it. "What do you think you're doing?"

"Covering up." I responded simply.

"You think you can just stand here with that on and I won't look at you? You are deeply mistaken, Serena. I look at any women with lingerie on." Jason leaned in. "Even the ones I don't want." He whispered in my ear.

That struck my heart hard when he said that.

"Just remember you will be my wife for a year," He reminded me. Yeah yeah yeah.

"Doesn't mean I'm going to fuck you."

"We'll see." A smirk spread across Jason's face. He turned to the door and left. A sigh of relief came out.

Sobs. Sobs? My eyes flew open. While sitting up I rubbed my eyes, wondering what, or who, the sobbing was coming from.

My feet took me to their living room where the sobbing was the loudest. My eyes hit Jason holding a girl. Reese. Reese wiped her tears as she looked at me.

"Reese? Are you okay?" I asked, concerned.

"I-I misscarried." Reese started crying all over again. My eyes hit Jason; not knowing what to say.

All I could say was that I'm sorry.

Reese ended up in my arms as she sobbed. "Hey, it's okay, Reese. Everything will be okay." A loud ringing came from a phone. Reese turned her head.

"Can you get that, Jas?" Jason nodded and answered her phone, but put it on speaker.

"Hello?" Jason answered.

"Is this Reese?" A female voice asked.

"This is her brother. Jason."

"I'm Dr. Jones. I called to inform her that after doing a couple tests, and more investigation on why she miscarried - upon her request. It turns out that she was pregnant with twins." Reese covered her mouth with her hand as more tears fell down her face. "Your sister only lost one of the babies. We took a urine and blood sample from her before she left to make sure she 100% lost the baby. The blood test came back saying that she was pregnant. Same with the urine sample which we used for the pregnancy test. This doesn't happen every often, hardly ever, but we missed the second baby."

Reese's eyes lit up. "Oh my god."

"Reese?" Dr. Jones questioned.

"Yes. It's me. So I still have a baby inside me?!"

"Yes you do. We want to see you as soon as possible. We'll give you all the vitamins you need for your baby. Do not come alone either. You shouldn't be driving by yourself or at all."

"My Fiancee and I will take my sister there," Jason spoke.

"Okay, good."

"Thank you, Doctor!" Reese said than hung up. She looked so happy and excited. I don't want to be there when that wears off and she is hit that she lost one of her babies.

Jason made Reese sit down and call her husband.

"Alex, it's me. We were pregnant with twins. I just lost one of them." Her face dropped. "I know, babe. At least we still have one of them." Reese had a small smile on her face. "Alright. I'll see you soon. I love you." The phone was brought away from her ear and shut off. Jason's arm went around Reese. "I'm gonna be okay, Jas. I'm gonna be okay. You're the best big brother ever."
