Chapter 3

(Leighton's P.O.V)

All day was spent on the consoler giving us a tour of the school and our classes. When lunch finally came around, Liam stood by the food cart waiting for me. He waved once he saw me heading towards him.

After ordering our food, we sat at a small table in the courtyard the school had. While we ate, I saw some girl walking by with Louis. She wall really pretty and I really loved the way her curls looked. Louis noticed Liam and I and walked over to us. The girl that he was with was standing there all awkward. Louis greeted us and introduced the girl as Hailey.

After Louis and Liam talked, Louis decided to finally leave, Hailey following behind him.

Liam turned to me and just smiled. After lunch finally ended we got to go to our last classes and talk to the teachers.

When school reached an endpoint, Liam and I wait for my sister to get to her car. Liam invited me earlier and I asked my sister to drop us off at his house.

It may seem odd to be hanging out with just a guy, but its kind if nice. I mean I don't act or dress like a guy, sometimes I think other girls create too much drama for me to even handle.

Especially entering high school, where rumors spread like wildfire.

"You want to watch a movie?" asked Liam. "Sure. No horror movies though. Remember what happened last time." I reminded him.

"Ah yes. You had to change your is pants and clean up the mess you made."

"It's not my fault the soda spilled on my pants and popcorn went flying everywhere. That person was scary and in my defense I was only trying to protect myself from nightmares."

He chuckled at me and I just rolled my eyes.

"What do you think about school so far?" I shrugged and sat next to Liam on the couch. I rested my legs on Liam's lap. "What about you?" He jut shrugged as well.

Liam as been my best friend since grade one. He knows all my secrets. I know all of his. We tell each other everything and we know when there's something wrong. He's like a brother to me, if anything happened to him I'll burst into tears.
