Everyone was staring intently at us, and by us I mean me and the corporal. For some reason, I was actually freaking out inside. I never knew I would be able to beat some many people in a FRIKIN SPARING MATCH. Welp, I guess miracles can happen.

We stood face to face as Hange shouted to prepare ourselves. I decided to get into somewhat of a fighting stance aka just shifting my feet. I glared into my opponents eyes until Hange yelled "Go!"

He aimed for my side but I easily dodged it. He quickly recovered from it and aimed a kick to my legs. I jumped and aimed a kick back at him. He was fast, but slow enough that I could keep up with him. The match kept going on and on until I managed to grab hold of his cravat.

I pulled the short man (even though he is way taller sorry if you aren't shorter than 5'3" I'm going off of my height) down to the ground and flipped over to pin him down. I succeeded but only for a few seconds when he flipped me over until I was on the ground. He held me there but I couldn't get free of his grip.

There was a massive uproar that emerged from the crowd of cadets. "Alrighty then! That was the longest, most interesting 30 minutes of my life!" Hange screamed. The corporal helped me on my feet as I wiped the dirt off of my butt. "Nice job (l/n)." He told be as I smiled back ."Not too shabby yourself." I smirked and giggled a little. "Well I guess Levi wins then! Nice try (y/n) but I will admit that that was a close round!" Hange exclaimed.

"Lunch time everyone!!!" She announced and everyone quickly rushed inside. I found Petra and sat down next to her. "Wow! I never knew you were that good!" She told me and I laughed a little. "Thanks!" Everyone else at my table was just staring at me in awe as I giggled at their reaction.

We continued to eat our lunch until a random cadet came over to me. "Corporal Levi is requesting to see you when you are done." I nodded and he left. "Well, I guess I gotta go!" And I left the table to head down to the corporals office. I left the mess hall and headed down a few corridors until I got to the superiors wing. I went down the hall and took a left. There, a large door had a small golden plaque that had the corporals name on it.

I knocked on the door softly and shortly after, the response came. "Name and business?"

"Cadet (l/n) sir. You had requested to see me?"

"Come in (l/n)."

I opened the door slowly and stepped inside. The room smelled like lemons and cleaning supplies. It was nice and the room was completely SPOTLESS. I could have sworn I saw my reflection on the inside part of the doorknob.

"Have a seat." Levi instructed as I made my way towards his desk. There was a chair on the opposite side from where he was sitting where I took my seat. I looked down and waiting in the thick silence that was brought between us.

After what seemed like forever, I looked up to have our gaze interlocked with each others. "You're probably wondering why I asked you here." Levi broke the silence. I nodded while I felt my face getting warmer. I had no idea why he called me in but I guess you can say that I was nervous.

"So I've noticed your skill since you were first brought here aka yesterday. So how are you liking it here so far?" He asked me. "It's nice." I responded. I didn't really know what else to say since I have only been here for a day and a half. "That's good. I want to request you into a squad soon. Yes, I know that this news is very soon but I see great potential in you (l/n)." He told me. I smiled and thanked him quietly. He nodded and dismissed me.

I got out of my chair and made my way towards the door. The doorknob was cold as I twisted it slightly to hear a small click. I attempted to twist it open again but it wouldn't budge. I felt my face getting really hot as I checked to make sure the door wasn't locked. To my surprise, it wasn't but it seemed like there was something jammed in it.

"Is everything alright?" I heard Levi ask me as he noticed me struggling with the door. "Yes except for the fact that the door is jammed..." He walked over to me and attempted to open the door. He shook it multiple times before the knob mistakenly fell off. I heard him silently curse to himself.

I tried my best to hide my laugh that was urging to come out. I couldn't help it and I burst out laughing. "Why are you laughing? You do realize we're stuck here until someone comes and help us." Levi glared at me. I stopped laughing and apologized.

He nodded and looked through the hole that was now there in place of the doorknob. I saw his eyes shift from left to right and back again to see if anyone was in the hallways. After he was done looking, he leaned back and shook his head in disappointment.
