Chapter 5
When I woke the sun was shining into my eyes which stung thanks to last night. I could already feel the hangover and decided the only way to face it was to get some medication. I very slowly sit up and only then realized that I was not at my home. I was at Joce’s dorm.
I looked down where Joce was last night but she wasn’t there. The warmth I had felt all night was suddenly gone and I shivered. Jo walked in only in a towel and instantaneously shied away, when she saw me. “Um… can you look away? I kinda… um…”
My head snapped up and I put my hand over my eyes and laid down on the bed, legs dangling over the edge. “Is this ok?”
“Uh yea. Just don’t look ok? I closed my eyes and removed my hand placing it besides my thigh. For a minute or two you could hear random drawers opening and closing, clothes being grabbed and thrown. Every instinct said look but laying like this was paradise on my pounding head. The thud of her towel dropping made my eyes pop open but I was only looking at the cabinet above her bed. The rustling of clothes being put on followed as I sat there staring at the pattern of the wooden cabinet.
Fully clothed, she jumped on top on me, straddling my hips. “IM DONE!!!!! Now we can start talking again without it being awkward.”
Joce’s POV
“So what do you wanna do?” I hopped off his hips and bounced around the room.
“I feel like we should get me some pills because my head is pounding.” He reached up and ran a hand through his brown hair. His hair was starting to curl at the ends and he reminded me of a hobbit.
“Excuse my hobbit hair. It only does this after I sleep. It also doesn’t help that I am hung over.” He sat up and walked across the small room, closing the distance between the two of us. “Let’s go to the park. There is a really good restaurant next to it.” He pulled me into a hug and him being the 6’ 3’’ giant that he is he just set his chin on top of my head.
A/N** I think I am going to post short chapters like these but maybe every 3 days? I think that would work better and the story would go faster than it is now. Plus I have like 3 people who hate waiting so long haha
