WARNING: Loads of clumsiness, cringiness, awkwardness and any annoying thing ending with 'ness' in this chapter. But bear with me please, it will get better. It's kind of short but I end up never knowing what to write at the end so we'll just go with it. Now, enjoy!

The blue sky started to darken as the scorching sun settled into the sea. A mixture of oranges, reds, yellows filled the horizon, mixing in with the fluffy clouds. The view was amazing from the hotel. Annie sighed and sat down on the chair.

"This is the life," she began, "all inclusive, ocean view, comfy beds. . .cute guys." She wiggled her eyebrows and Madison giggled. Annie was Madison's best friend. In fact, she was one of her only friends. Of course, she had the people who she could have a chat about politics or the weather, but other than that Annie was the only one there for her. They were almost like sisters; thick as thieves, joint by the hip, whatever expression you could use.

Madison watched as a bird pecked at the crisp crumbs on the ground below them. They were on the eighth floor, which was still pretty high, seeing as they didn't count the reception and dining rooms as floors.

This was the exact hotel they had almost met the boys of Dusk- the most popular band of the decade, according to this week's recent copy of 'the stars' magazine- about a year ago. This time though, they weren't here to find Finlay Harrison, Jude Leo, Eli Harvey and Seth Hunter. They were here to celebrate them finally graduating from Secondary School. Annie was rambling on about Barry from Biology class and how she would miss staring at the back of his curly locks, whilst Madison viewed the kids screaming and running around, their mothers chasing after them. She began to think about when she was younger and how annoying she must have been.

"Madison?" Annie called, slightly quiet, which concerned Madison. Annie was never quiet. She hummed in reply, waiting for her to speak. "What's going to happen?"

"What do you mean by that?" She asked, turning back around to look at Annie. Madison noticed her brown hair was sticking to her face, covering her green eyes. She looked upset, making Madison worry once again. Why, she thought, is she acting so down?

"Well, " Annie paused to brush her hair out of her face, "we're done, finished. My Mum told me she only talks to her friends Madeline and Louise, and even then they hardly even speak. Louise hadn't even told her she was pregnant until now. She just had the baby.

"I'm just worried that, well, you won't tell me about your baby until it's two months old and-"

"Annie, who the hell would even want to date me, never mind have a baby with me?" Madison laughed.

"True," - Madison shoved her at this- "I'm only joking! But seriously, I'm scared."

Maddie only looked at her.

"That's not going to happen."

Benidorm was amazing. The sand on the beaches was warm and golden, almost perfect; the cloudless skies were upsetting, but that was only because you couldn't pick out which one looked like a duck or whatever like in Scotland; the sunny weather gave them a major tan; and at last they had met a group of very good looking English boys who were going on the same flight back- how amazing is that?

They only had three days left before they went back and Madison wanted to explore the town once more just on her own. She took her polaroid camera out from her suitcase and hung it around her neck. She packed her backpack, (mostly with bottles of water!) then headed out - making sure to write on Annie's hand that she'd be back by lunch.
