Here I stand only in my dusty rose lace bralette and matching lace bikini. I watch as his eyes glaze over with lust and he swallows uncomfortably.

Serves his ass damn right, my subconscious screams doing a victory dance. Good to know I have this effect on him.

Though I was freaking frozen in my spot, I was fuming.

"Get the hell out of my room," I hiss through gritted teeth.

"No," he says simply in nonchalance, the one word rolling off his tongue smoothly, only irritating me more.

"I'm going to fricken shoot you, I swear," I threatened, my tone low and deadly as I looked up at the ceiling.

"Phoenixxx," I whine and the brute only raises his eyebrow amusingly.

"You know, you're really cute when you're angry," he smirks devilishly.

"Really? Because I'm about to get damn gorgeous," I said through gritted teeth, seething.

We were both silent, lost in each other, because once our gazes met, time no longer existed and we were frozen in that moment.

But after a while, I sighed and cast my eyes downwards. Phoenix was stubborn as hell and he wasn't going to leave, at any cost. I began to move around my room, in search for my periwinkle robe but his deep and alluring voice broke the silence.

"Stop," and with that simple word, my body froze and I was I was ready to give into him. I stood up straight and my eyes locked with his. Gold to teal.
