Urgh!!! This curiosity is killing me! I quickly sat up on my black leather couch and stared at the envelope sitting on my glass coffee table. I decided not to open it for two reasonable reasons. One it could be a trap and some poison gas will spray me in the face killing me if I open the envelope like in the movies. The second reason is that I feeling an weird vibe coming from. Its like my whole world will change as soon as I open it. I mean a strange lady handed me a suspicious envelope without telling me the sender name but apparently they know my name. But maybe I should open it....No!
After having a little debate in my head, I decided to man up and open the letter. I tore off the seal and started opening the envelope really slowly. I flinched and dropped it waiting for the gas to appear but to my surprise nothing happened. I would be lying if I say I wasn't disappointed. I picked up the envelope up off the floor and pulled the letter out not caring if something big was going to happen.
It was a message which reads:
As times go on and another day pass by, the truth is yet to be revealed.
As you hide yourself in the comfort of money and lust, there is always a shadow that will follow.
Time is drawing near and the past will catch up.
What will you do WHEN THE TIME COMES?
Running is futile because wherever you are, the past will find you and will come to claim what is rightful his.
So be prepare. I give you a hint to keep you pondering.
The truth lies in the looking glass.
Time is ticking, my dear Cedric.
Sincerely, R. 5

R ....R....R. Who do I know that start with an R?...... I can't really think of anyone right now and what does he mean in the looking glass?
My past? What a load of bullshit! It obviously someone trying to pull a joke on me. But who and what do the exactly know about my past? I went to my bed and flopped down onto it. The past... something I fear more than losing money. The Past......
Flashback to Age of 5:
"You bastard! How dare you take that fucking money?!!!" My mother yelled at my father.
"I'm sorry, it wasn't my fault, okay! It was just...." My father tried to explain but failing miserably.
"You just what spent it all on alcohol and that slut!" My mother argued running her hands through her hair furiously.
"Hey! You keep her out of this! This has nothing to do with Roxanne." My father argued back defending the prostitute from next door.
"YOU BASTARD!!" My mom shouted throwing a beer bottle at him.
My dad quickly dodge it but the bottle shattered in a million pieces leaving a nasty stain on the wall.
"Get out of this house! I never want to see you again!! Just leave and take that slut with you!!" She cried dropping to the floor covering her face in her hands.
My father just took his coat and left. That was the last time I ever saw my father after that event. No one ever knew that I was right there, hiding behind the corner listening to everything. My mother told me that father had to take a long trip and won't be coming for a while. I never told my mom that I knew what really happened. A few days later, my mom started doing drugs. At first it was pills but as the days went on, the drugs advanced. It went on all the way to Cocaine, Meth, and etc.
