Lil Lu's pov
I woke up and took a shower. I wrapped my towel around my petite body and sat down on my bed. I heard a knock on my door and jumped. I pulled my gun from the side of my bed and put it on my side.
"It's open"I yelled. I soon seen my sister Mimi come in.
"Aye Lu can I borrow some money?"she asked.
"How much?" I questioned putting my gun back up and slowly raising up. I walked to my closet and grabbed my Jordan shoe box full of my money.
"$60"she smiled.
"Girl you need to get a job, I had to start hustling when I was about yo age and take Lonnie's place"I huffed counting $60 out for her.
"I know and I'm thankful"she hugged me walking out.
I closed my door back and turned on my new song Into you by Tamia and Fabulous remake ( A/N:It's actually by Sydney Ranae). I pulled my ironed clothes off my ironing board and put them on. I opened my shoe box back up and started counting my money. $89,998 in counting is what I have right now. Business hasn't been booming lately because somebody by the name of Lucas Coly 😒 is taking almost all my customers. We come from different gangs we're known as the Blue Eyed Angles. I know whack right😂 anyways I only got 2 girls in my gang and the rest are my brothers close friends. I had to take my brothers place after he died💔. He was out with Lucas and some other guys and some guys just started shooting at them. My brother Lonnie and Lucas were running to a safe spot but they shot Lonnie before they could get to safety. Every since then I blamed Lucas,I always asked him for answers and he never gave me one. So every since Lon's death I learned the ropes and tricks of dope dealing. I became a mastermind at it until Lucas started selling too. I was bringing in $1,000 at least twice a day. I grabbed my box and put it back up under some clothes. I felt on the side of my bed and grabbed my gun. I headed downstairs to see my mom on the floor crying.
"What's wrong Dukes?"I huffed.
"It's nothing baby, are you going up to Lonnie's grave today?"she lied changing the subject.
"Yeah.Look at me"I spat grabbing her face. I looked at my mom to see fear in her eyes but at the same time I seen her face bruised up. "You're still letting this punk hit you mom?!! Give me the word and I'll make his death look like a accident!"I yelled.
"Lu no don't do that please"she begged holding me.
"You're going to go stay with Auntie Janetta and Liv go pack your bags I'm taking you after I drop Mimi off at school so come on"I sighed picking her up. I opened her room door to smell weed and alcohol. I grabbed her suitcase ad threw some clothes and underwear in her bag and zipped it up. I gave her bag and waited her to walk out the house.
"Mimi let's go before you late"I screamed.
"Here I come Lucy!!"she ran towards me rushing out the door.
I laughed to myself and shook my head locking up the house. I got in the car heading to Jefferson high school to drop Mimi off.
"Bye Mimi I may not come pick you up today I may have to work. Love you"I spoke feeling bad.
"Okay we'll I'll see if Havannah a drop me off"she waved bye.
