I texted Jasper and sorted out when to meet. Clothes flew across my bedroom, building up a pile around me, as I tried desperately to find something to wear. I wanted to look decent and presentable, but also casual. Due to a lack of time, I gave up and chose to go with my comfort outfit; band shirt, ripped black jeans, and black and white converse. I threw gum, body spray, a cardigan, and a warm black denim jacket into my bag; the essentials. I took deep breaths and tried to shake off the nervousness before I met Jasper at the end of my street.

The wind was picking up as I closed the door. My head started to feel wet as rain began to pour. Wow, fantastic timing, I sighed frustratingly, screwing up my face. All of a sudden, it felt like an icy cold swimming pool on top of me as little cold pebbles hit my head. My feet started to take speed and I held onto my arms, knowing that wouldn't make me any warmer, but hoping for a miracle. A black car appears, just as I reached our meeting spot. I never thought I would feel so relieved to see him.

A door flings open and struggles to fight the wind. "Hurry, get in. You'll freeze to death out here."
I quickly sat onto a covered seat and felt the door close. Jasper quickly ran through the driver's door and sighed.
"Well, what a day wonderful it is to see you", he laughed sarcastically, as water droplets fell from his hair.
I didn't pay much attention to him and instead chose to looked out the frosty window next to me. It scared me that on the same day I'm seeing Jasper, the weather is out of hand and icy, just like him. "So what were your plans for today?" I asked avoiding contact, trying to control the cracks in my voice.
"I just wanted to talk." I felt him staring at me, examining my face and each movement I made. "You're shaking, did you need a jacket?" He spoke so emotionlessly.
"No, I'm fine, thanks. I've actually got one in my bag." I tried to breathe and calm the pounding of my heart, throbbing to the edge of my chest.
"I suggest putting it on then. Assuming you don't want to catch a cold." Jasper turned to me with a smirk. "I'm not going to hurt you. You don't have to be scared. I just wanted to have a friendly discussion." He paused and saw he wasn't getting a response out of me any time soon. I was shaking in fear, unable to turn to look at his face. "Okay, you're cold and you're going to get sick if you stay in those clothes. You can borrow some of my sister's clothes. I'm going to drive to my house and you can talk to her for now, while she helps you out."
Pure terror pulsed through my veins. What was I to do? He was right, I was freezing in these west clothes and nose was already running a little. I just wanted to go home, but then seeing him today would have been all for nothing. Wasted fear and courage. I needed to push through my thoughts. Just focus on the spell. My mind is safe and closed. I needed to know what he wants from me.

Jasper walked me to his front door and knocked. A girl appeared at the door, peach-pink hair, bright blue eyes, wearing a Pink Floyd shirt and black jeans.
"Raven, we have a guest".
She squealed with joy, scanned my body, stopping at my t-shirt and grabbed my shoulders. "You love David Bowie, too? I think we're going to get on very well." She smiled and walked me into their house; a spacious lounge that lead to the kitchen, winding white stair case, that brought your eyes up to a small chandelier. It was very modern and minimalistic with a touch of vintage.
"Raven, do you have some spare clothes Luna can borrow? As you can see, she got caught in the weather." Jasper walked down the hall without any further acknowledgment and Raven lead me to her room.
"Okay, I got plenty of t-shirt choices for you, since we seem to share the same music taste." She enthusiastically spoke. She was so warm and inviting. Her eyes were a bright, deep blue, opposed to her brother's. Raven passed me a blue tie-dyed Jim Morrison shirt and a simple black zip-up jacket. "I'm not sure what to give you for pants. Hmm". She rummaged through her draws, searching for something that may fit. "You look about the same size as me. I have these black track pants. They don't look too bad on. Trust me, if I bought them, they are somewhat stylish." She laughed. "Otherwise I can give you a pair of my jeans to borrow?"
I had a quick thought, but I wanted something comfortable, "I'll go with the track pants, please."
"Good choice! Much more comfy in this weather. I think I'll put on some track pants, too." She smiled. "You can have a quick shower in my bathroom and get changed in there. I have a spare towel on the rail warmer and feel free to use the body wash and face wash."
I smiled and left to her bathroom. I'm glad I didn't go home. This is no way as scary as I thought it to be.
