Chapter 11

Ashayla POV
I can't believe he smoked. He told everyone he'd stop and now he's smoking. Did I do something wrong? Was it me, what did I do?
I hope Pete's still here I need him, I walk downstairs to see a sleeping Pete sprawled out on the couch. I need to wake him up but he looks so peaceful.
"Pete wake up I need you."I say shaking him."Pete get up!" I yell in his ear causing him to jump up.
"What's wrong? What's going on?" He says whipping his head around.
"Nothing Pete, actually there is why is brendon smoking again?" I say not looking at him." It's my fault isn't it?"
"Ash no, no it's not you. Look at me. Brendon just slipped that's it. It wasn't because of you. Don't ever think that."he says hugging me. "I know what will make you feel better." He says grinning at me.
"What?" I say
"You like my chemical romance right?" He asks picking up his phone.
"Um yes of course I love them!" I say looking up.
"Hey Gerard come over to Brendon's we are having a party bring the band."Pete says into the phone.
"Omg Pete you didn't just do that? What's brendon gonna say when he wakes up?" I ask excitedly
"I just did and I don't know we'll see when he does." He says laughing. "I'll get the rest of Fall out boy here." He says texting away on his phone.

I run upstairs and get ready. I take a quick shower and grab my Panic! Shirt and twenty one pilots beanie, then a pair of black skinny jeans. I just blow dry my jet black hair and leave it as it is. I don't put any makeup on because it's just bands. About 10 minutes after I'm done the door bell rings.

"I've got it!" I yell not caring if I wake Brendon up right now, I'm still mad at him but I don't know why. I run to the door and swing it open to reveal the one and only Gerard and Mikey way. When I open the door they stop what their doing and just look at me.

"Ashayla?" Gerard asks
"Uh um yeah." I say astonished he knew my name. He just smiles like a two year old and hugs me.
"Hi im your new uncle Gerard!" He says squeezing me tight. How many uncles could I possibly have? Gerard let's go and Mikey does the exact same thing. After all of the greetings we all make our way into the house.

"It looks like you've met the ways."Pete says.

"Yeah how many uncles do I have?"

"I don't really know it's crazy."
Soon enough the house is full of people.

"Come here I wanna introduce you to somebody."Pete says dragging me across the room.

Pete pulls me over to a small group of people. Once we arrive to them he taps the shoulder of a guy thats only a few inches taller than me. The guy turns on his heels and smiles. I've got to say he is really good looking.

"Hi I'm Jayden!" The man extends his hand for me to shake.

"I-Im Ashayla. It's nice to meet you." Wow real smooth Ash you just met this guy and he probably thinks your weird.

"Let's go outside and talk. It's quieter out there." He suggests

I just nod and follow him out back. Why did Pete introduce us? I need to thank him, Jayden seems really nice.

"So what do you want to talk about?" I ask sitting down on the edge of the pool.

"Anything, I just really want to get to know more about you. Pete has talked about you alot." He says smirking.

"Ok um, twenty questions then?"

"Ok let's start."

"Question #1 favorite band?" I say

"That's hard. I think mine is twenty one pilots, or the emo Trinity." He says grinning.

"Same here! I already like you." I say laughing.

"Question #2 how old are you?" He asks

"Um 13 going on 14 next month" I say
"Well I'm 14 my birthday was last month."

#3 hobbies?

"I kinda like baseball, music singing. Even though I can't sing I still do anyway." He says I laugh at his last comment.

"I love softball, and I like to sing even though I suck." I say laughing.

#4 favorite song

"Mine is cancer by my chemical romance." Jayden responds.

"Mine is truce by twenty-one piløts."

#5 Are you single

"Yes actually but I think I have a little crush on someone." I say. My crush was him which is crazy I had just met him. I hope he doesn't ask who it is.

"Yeah I'm single too." He says looking down blushing.

#6 who's your crush?

"Its a little weird." I say looking down. "I just recently met them so it's probably too soon."

"No it's fine just tell me maybe they like you too." He says blushing like crazy.

"It's you. You probably don't even like me back though so."I say not making eye contact.

"Ashayla look at me. Don't ever think somebody doesn't like you. Trust me I like you we might have just met but I really like you okay." He says reassuringly

"Thank you Jayden. " I say hugging him.

#7 will you be my girlfriend

"What?" I say shocked
"Will you be my girlfriend?" He says hopefully
"Yes Jayden!" I say hugging him forcefully pushing both of us into the pool.

"Oh my god what happened?" Brendon yells running out.

"Fft.. nothing I just hugged him and we fell in." I said wiping the water from my face.

"Why did y'all hug?" He asks helping us out of the pool.

"Um he asked me to be his girlfriend." I say rubbing the back of my neck.

"You said yes didn't you that's why you hugged him." He says smiling at us.

"Yeah is that okay with you?" I ask

"Of course Jayden is a really sweet kid." Brendon says walking back inside. "C'mon let's get you two dried off."

We follow brendon into the house and he hands us two towels. Why is he being so cool about this? I wonder if he knows about me seeing him smoking?
