I couldn't fall asleep. I kept thinking about Camila and how beautiful she had looked sitting across from me that afternoon. She seemed a little shy, I could tell she tried not to show it. I could tell she had a strong spirit though, and I loved it. She didn't back down from her ideas when I tried to show her a different angle. I could tell she was incredibly smart too. The way she spoke and carried herself was amazing and honestly, a little intimidating. I couldn't believe I had underestimated her. She was a little bad ass, my Camila. I wanted more, I felt like I had found something I didn't even know I'd lost.

It was morning and I felt a little tired from lack of sleep but I was also excited. I wanted to see Camila again. She didn't really have to go to my site anymore till about the end of the project, but I couldn't wait that long. I called her office for her but she was out working on something else.

I decided I'd send her some flowers. Chicks like that stuff, no? I'd never really tried to romance a girl before. I never felt the need to chase a woman before. But Camila? Yeah, that woman had to be mine. I wanted to woo her I wanted to know she felt this intensity I felt towards her, for me. Only for me.

I went to work, did my usual thing. I checked emails, made phone calls, checked in on the progress of the site, and I waited for her to call...and waited....and waited. But she never called. What.the.fuck? I was getting worried. Maybe I sent them to the wrong place. Maybe she never got them. I didn't have her cell phone to ask her. Maybe I can call her office and ask for her? No, I would look to desperate. Damn it! This wooing shit was frustrating, why couldn't she just fall for me? She had me like some lovestruck fool desperate for her time.

I spent the rest of my day in a sour mood. I didn't know whether she purposely didn't call, or if she never got them. It didn't matter anymore, I was a damn hardass for the rest of the day. The guys could tell, and for the most part stayed out of my way. I actually yelled at one of them, I never had to raise my voice before. The materials I had ordered had been shipped to the wrong location. The new team for electric showed up late. My lunch was not cooked right. Gah! The day went to shit.

It was a long ass day. I went home and walked straight to the fridge and grabbed a beer. Whatever, I'm not even mad. It's not like I actually have any claim on her. It's not like she's really all that.

Right?

Wrong! She was all that and then some. Fuck what was this woman doing to me!? I'd known her all of two fucking days and already she'd taken over me.
