4 years later

"Lucas! Listen to your mother!" I yelled to my son from the deck overlooking the backyard. I was warming up grill while Camila tried to get some sun before heading back into the kitchen. I could see him beginning to piss off Camila, and she hadn't made the Enchiladas yet. I wanted to eat and if he didn't quit squirting his mother with that water gun he would be having a frozen dinner.

"Lucas! Stop it!" Camila screamed from her chair by the pool.

My son being inside the pool felt pretty secure, so he did not in fact stop. "Boy! If you make me come over there, you can kiss that new bike goodbye." That stopped his little attack.

"Sorry mama," he glumly apologized.

I loved my life, my wife and my boy. Recently Camila had given me the ok to try for another baby. Best believe I was all over that. I was taking her every chance I could get her. I never expected that on that road I would find my happiness.

Just then, Xavier showed up and came through the sliding door. We were having a small BBQ to celebrate the little man in the pool. He was 4 years old today. I couldn't believe how much time had passed already. I loved my little family.

"Hey Dan! I've got beer!" Xavier proudly carried his offering.

"Hey X! Yeah just put them in the chest over there." He did as told and brought two back over.

"So Dan, you got a good looking family. How's it feel?" He said looking at my beautiful wife and son.

"Like I won the fucken lottery man. When are you gonna finally get you a girl and start your own?" I looked over at him.

"I would love to, but I can't seem to find the future Mrs. Xavier Aguirre anywhere. I want what you and Cam have but girls seem to only go for the money or the idiots. What a joke!" He chuckled.

"I hear ya man, hey can you grab me the steaks from the kitchen while I go ask Cam if she can start on the Enchiladas?" I asked.

"Sure thing Boss, back in a bit." He turned to leave. I had promoted Xavier to help me out more at the company. My dad retired shortly after Camila and I got married. I loved the company but I loved my family more. Xavier was a good guy. Genuine hard worker and was committed to the company. I knew he wanted someone is his life to share with. He'd grown up and only child and now that he was in his early thirties, he was looking to settle down. He had a bad habit of picking up women who only liked mooching off of him till they got what they needed and left him.

I turned away to go but not before I heard him bump into someone else.

"Ow!" "Fuck!"

I turned and saw Xavier and Rose my sister-in-law, on the floor! He was on top of her. What the hell?! I rushed back to help them up. "Hey! Dude I told you to get the steaks not to pummel my sister-in-law." I helped Rose up and notice a familiar blush on her I had once seen on my wife.

"Thanks Dan." She shook her head smiled at me, "and you! Watch were you're going! You clutz!" She shoved him as she looked back at Xavier and walked away towards Cam. As she walked away, I looked back at X, and saw him staring at her. With his mouth open.

"Dude, you need a bucket for your drool?" I laughed at him.

"Holy shit! Who-is-that!?" He said.

"That is Cam's little sister Rose. She's a feisty little thing ain't she? Why?" I watched him closely.

"I want her," and he followed towards her.

Oh boy! Here we go.
