Monsters and humans lived as one equal race, living alongside each other in peace. They lived and hunted together.
One day, humans wanted rule over the land, and in fear of the beheld power of the monsters, they banished them from the surface.
In result, a bloody battle was fought, the humans, with heads held high, victorious.
The surviving monsters, fearing for their life, went into hiding. Following their king into Mt Ebott, venturing deep into the caves until they found an end.
The humans, knowing where they fled, brought fourth seven of the strongest wizards to cast a spell on the cavern entrance. A barrier, that could only be broken by the use of seven humans souls...
