I layed on the ground looking sat the fallen temple. My eyes wide and in shock. I slowly stand shaking. I clench my teeth.
"Damn it Jace. How could you leave us here when we needed you most. We could have saved you...You...." I drop to my knees.
"Chandra.." I hear Ajani say under his breath.
I see an amulet from Jaces robe on the ground. I pick it up, I look up at the Temple one last time Feeling my eyes begin to well up with tears. I stand and storm off towards the Gates, passing many Scared faces on the streets of Alara.
"Chandra! Where are you going?!" I hear Ajani yell as he moves after me. He catches me and grabs my shoulder.
I smack his arm away and give him a look of pure anger. "What!"
"What are you doing?! Storming off like this how will this do anything for Jace?!" Ajani yells at me.
"Im going to avenge Jace and Kill Ral Zarek and Liliana wether you fallow me or not!" I stare at him still.
He sighs. "I can not join you now."
I growl.
"But.." He adds. "I will meet up with you after i get things settled here. Just give me a rendevous point and i will meet you with my best soilders,I swear." He says to me as he stands tall and Valient.
I look at him. "Izzet,We meet at Izzet." I say, my voice stern.
He nods. "you should go find Gideon."
I nod. I summon a Phoenix with a snap of my fingers. Its big enough for me to ride. I hop on it and begin to fly towards Heliud. As i flew the mentle image of jace being crushed filled my mind i began to feel a single tear fall down my face as i flew.
As i land i am stopped by guards Of Heliud.
"Why do you come here pyro-mancer" one asks.
"I need to speak with Gideon. Now." I say to him.
"The looks to the other and the other nods. "Fallow me" He walks over the long bridge and leads me to a court yard where i find Gideon.
"Gideon. I need to speak with you." I say as i walk towards him.
He turns and looks at me. "Chandra?..." He walks to me "What is it?"
"I need your help. Ral zarek took my Fire amulet and we need to get it back." I put my hands on my hips.
"I cant i must stay and train the new arrivals,Go ask Jace." He turns to walk away.
"Jace...is dead Gideon." I say to him. i begin to feel myself shake.
He stops and turns to me. "What?"
"He risked his life to save me and Ajani..." I say to him.
Gideon looks down and to the side. "....Fetch me my armor."
"What sir." I hear a guard ask.
"My armor,Now!" Gideon shouts.
I watch as the guard runs off Gideon looks at me "We will avenge Jace's Sacrafise."
I nod.
"Were is Ral Zarek?" He asks me his fists clenched.
"I dont know but Ajani will meet us at Izzet and we will find out there."
Gideon Nods. He turns and The guards have brought him his armor. He Puts it on. with his sural on one arm and sheild on the other he looks at me. "We will find and kill Ral Zarek for Jace."
I hear Gideons men Yell and cahnt around us. I smile and look at Jaces amulet.
Gideion looks at me "We should go check on Garruk. He'll be a great help."
"Ya he would.How shall we travel?" i ask.
"Not by Phoenix,Dont wanna burn his forest down." He says. "Get me two Horses."
Two Guards bring us two horses. I get on mine and Watch Gideon.
"We will meet at the Izzet Bridge. Train hard my brothers and sisters of war!" He says raiseing a fist in the air.
"Yeah!" The soilders yell as loud as they can throwing a fist in the air.
"Three days." I shout.
Gideon hops on his horse. "Heya." He says and the horse gallops out of the citidel.
I whistle and my horse gallops fast after his.We ride down a path as we ride farther from the citidel i see Gideon slow down.
"Who killed jace?" He asks not facing me.
I clench the reins of the horse "Liliana Vess"
"What!" He says looking at me. He sighs Looking to the air "Killed by his own lover..."
"She always used him,It was never love." I say to him. "Now please...Can we not talk about this?"
"Alright, i'm sorry i know how close you two were." He flicks the reins, and rides faster
"Ya....more then you know Gideon." i say under my breath as I ride faster to cath up.
We soon reach the Vast land of Garruks forest.
"Gideon. We should travel by foot. The horses will attracked too much attention." I say as i hop off the Horses sattle.
"Alright." He says as he does the same.
We begin to walk into the woods. As we walk what seems to be 10 feet we hear somthing. We turn around to see Branches of the forsest seal the exit.
"Well..." I hear Gideon say.
"Let's keep going." I say as i walk deeper into the woods.
Gideon stil staring turns and walks with me. "I have a bad feeling about this."
"Ya me too." I say as we walk deeper into the woods.
