Chapter 3// mind games
Alexis' point of view:

"Yeah no he just left me there, and I swear in that moment I wanted to just throw myself in front of a bus" I explained, Sam just listened quietly.
"Okay I know he might feel guilty about sleeping with you yet again but it's messed up he just left you in the middle of nowhere" I sighed and looked at the pictures that Alex had in his room, I smiled at one where he was about 3 or 4 and he was smiling so big and he had a couple missing teeth but he was adorable "Lex?"
I snapped out of my daze at the sound of her voice "what? Sorry, sorry I just dazed out"
"Where are you? Do you need Cody and I to come get you?" I sighed "No I'm okay, I'm with my friend. I'm staying at her house so it's okay, just please don't tell Cody, the last thing I want is him hurting Jack no matter how bad I want him hurt" after I talked with sam and her promising not to tell Cody I hung up and sat down on Alex's bed, taking in the atmosphere I sighed "Hey" I looked up from the floor to the doorway and there was Alex standing against it "Hi" I said smiling, he chuckled and came in "So sleeping arrangements are made I guess" I chuckled and told him to continue "Uh bathroom is right there obviously, you can go in there and change into something for bed"
"Uh what else, what else.." He said thinking "Oh!" I jumped at his sudden outburst and he laughed "you can help yourself to anything you like in the kitchen, don't be shy. Um my sister is supposed to be here in like 10 minutes and she will try to embarrass me so please don't laugh at me" I laughed, he was actually blushing so that made me laugh even more. Even though I was laughing at him I still nodded, when I did stop laughing I got up and grabbed some puma leggings along with a sweatshirt "Well I'm going to go change" he nodded and I went, when I got to the restroom I washed my face and put my clothes on. I didn't have no makeup on so I felt naked but I felt good.

"You probably shouldn't wear those" I turned around and seen a girl, who looked a little like Alex, this must be his sister "Oh sorry hi I'm Andrea, I'm Alex's sister" I shook her hand and smiled "I'm surprised you don't have the name Alex or something to match with your brother and mom" she chuckled "Actually I do, it's Alexandria but I just call myself Andrea" I nodded "ohh okay, well I'm Lexi" she chuckled "Okay Lexi well I don't think you should wear those pants" I looked at her with a confused face and looked at my pants "Are they really that bad?" She shook her head "Turn around" I oddly obeyed "Yeah definitely can't" I raised an eyebrow "My brother is in love with girls in yoga pants and those will just make him go insane" I couldn't help but laugh "Your brother can deal with it because these are my favorite pants to sleep in" she laughed "I like you already"
"Hey Lexi-" Alex said coming into the hallway that his sister and I were currently talking in, he stopped when he seen his sister "Did you tell her something embarrassing, because if you did I'm telling mom" I hid the laugh that was wanting to come out "Oh shut up you doofus, I didn't tell her anything" she said and he sighed in relief but she continued "Except for the fact that you get boners every time you see a girl in leggings" I laughed and she walked away "It was nice meeting you by the way!" She told me, I laughed again.
Alex's face was priceless "Aw it's okay Alex, we all get them. Even girls" I winked and walked inside his room, I grabbed my phone and seen I had a message
Cody Ryle: listen I'm so sorry about what happened, I want you to know that I really did have feelings for you. But you kept me waiting for so long that I just kind of lost control of myself, I didn't get to meet you until a couple days ago and you still haven't trusted me in anything. I love you so much though Alexis.
I hope you can forgive me.

I sighed, I shut my phone off and put it in my sweaters pocket "What's wrong?" I looked up and seen Alex "It's just stupid guy problems" he smiled slightly "What happened?" I shrugged, when he noticed I wasn't going to answer he came over to me and sat next to me "I know we just met but you can tell me anything you know? I'm a good listener" I sighed "It's just I had a thing with this guy named Cody and like we weren't dating but he still claimed me as his and so it was like that for 2 years. Keep in mind that I hadn't met him, well I just met him like a 3 weeks ago and come to find out that he's cheating on me"
