10 - Epilogue

The next day, Adrien went to school normally, except for the tail and ears. Everyone looked at him, and Marinette just hugged him.

Nino thought it was awesome, the others too. But there was one person who didn't like him anymore. She immediately stopped loving him when she saw his new features. She called him "weirdo" and "monster". Adrien didn't care. He was happy because his friends accepted him. Sometimes Nino even teased him with a branch, and Adrien somehow always fell for it. But before Nino could throw it, Marinette stopped him.

His parents were a little surprised at first, but they didn't yell at him. Instead, they hugged Adrien and told him they suspected it since the question. The boy couldn't be more happy, 'cause Gabriel and Alice still loved him as they always did before his transformation.

Adrien stayed with Marinette his whole life. They got married and had children, who luckily didn't end up as werewolves. He didn't have any trouble with neither the ears nor the tail, in fact, nobody seemed to care about that anymore. Marinette died before him, with the age of 47. He never forgot her last words; "I was right, wasn't I?", after saying this, she closed her eyes forever, falling into a deep sleep with no end.

Adrien couldn't understand what she meant by saying that, until Emma, his older daughter, asked him to tell her the story of Marinette and him.

He started narrating everything, from the beginning until the end. He stopped when he remembered the phrase she told him after almost being bitten.
He smiled to himself when he finally understood Marinette's last words. And he agreed with her, she was right after all.

Adrien put Emma on his lap, and told her "She then said..."

"We'll be together forever, till death do us part"
